Football: In terms of pure natural talent Maradona; undeniably the most naturally gifted man to ever take the field. If we are factoring in career achievements then CR7.

Boxing: Ray Robinson for me. Armstrong, Ali, Leonard, Duran and Mayweather all in my top ten.

Golf: Jack Nicklaus

Tennis: Federer

Athletics: Very difficult one to quantify, but Bolt achieved the triple triple and smashed WR’s to bits in the 100 & 200m (yes I know one medal was revoked, but little he could do about that).

Cricket: Very causal fan, not informed enough to give an opinion.

Snooker: Tied between O’Sullivan and Hendry. Ronnie has more natural ability, but I think as a result Hendry gets earmarked as a dull player in contrast (his personality doesn’t help), but he was actually very exciting and pioneering himself.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Cricket: I am a causal fan too

Surely, if we were talking about greatest not just in talent but in presence and how the person made that sport appeal to the mass, it's hard to beat Ian Botham's achievements?
Like I said I am a casual fan of cricket

Football - Messi - For the unbelievably long list of records he's broken and won Ballon D'or more times than anyone else

Tennis - Nadal - Just won his 14th grand slam

Cricket - Not even a sport.

Olympian - Phelps (Bolt a very close 2nd).
----------------------------------------------------------------------
2 out of 4 not bad for you Doovde
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Which ones did I get right?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Why isn’t cricket a sport ?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Would you consider watching paint dry a sport?

You’d consider the culmination of the the WC Final or the Ben Stokes innings at headingley akin to watching paint dry ?

I just think it's boring as fack.

Been to Edgebaston twice to watch England. Left after 20 minutes both times. Soooo slow and boring.

Only good things is you can drink in the stands... Still left.

Just my opinion, of course.

Twas a nice day. Went and sat in a beer garden and watched the footy instead

Football is my favourite sport but I wouldn’t alway day I find watching spurs enjoyable. Half the time it stresses me out!

Cricket I love because you can sit in a park and watch on the big screen or go to a test and watch from the stands. Headingley fancy dress section is a great laugh as well - I’ve had more fun there than at most football matches. Also been to watch cricket in Barbados and watching in the sun while drinking is great

Do you find bowls exciting?

I'm not the only one who find Cricket boring. The Times did a survey and of the 1,608 people asked, 58% found it boring:

At a good level I like all sport tbh and yes even bowls. The Netball final that England won was one of the best sporting moments Ive seen in a long while.

Cricket is ace though in any format. Prefer tests myself by try a day night game. Always good fun.

I've tried. I've been to two games.

Just isn't for me.

I'll stick to football where I'm left disappointed most weeks

I think it’s clear that Ronaldo and Messi are of a higher standard that Pele and Maradona.

What edges me more to Ronaldo is his ability to maintain his level at different clubs as well as dragging his country to international success.

It’s something Messi is yet to do and I think will be a blackmark on his career as he’s forever compared to Diego.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not really sure the international thing matters, considering portugal won the Euros without ronaldo playing. Messi has done just as much as ronaldo in a worse, more disfunctional team
