I've heard it said that one of the reasons we have an incredibly poor crop of MPs these days is the pay is so low compared to what they could earn elsewhere.
Its an interesting thought, one things for sure though, I much prefer having our MPs moan about being underpayed than I'm the US where they all become millionaires instantly from lobby groups

If he's been found asking a foreign government to interfere with US elections, and has then covered it up as is being stated.. then Republicans will turn on him as he'll be seen as a national security threat and it won't sell with their voters.
Like I say.. it'll be the cover-up that nails him.
If we ever get to see the transcript of the call.. which has suspiciously been misfiled, as it has now come to attention that this has happened several times.
Gonna be a good few subpoenas being issued and witness testimonies heard.. the White House staff who tried to bury this call, the lawyers who instructed them to erase the call completely and then trump himself.
Apparently the head of intelligence went to the WH first when that isn't the legal protocol. There's your evidence of a cover up there. Especially as the call was buried after he did so.
