I don't think we set out to play the high ball game, we tried to play our normal game and couldn't get settled due to a shocking pitch and some very aggressive and impressive pressing from Livi, it was always looking like the type of game we were gonna need a bit of luck to win but Christie's red made Livi strong favorites.
We will need to prepare for games like that, coz i've no doubt other teams will have taken note.
No pass marks for any Celtic players today.
Christies tackle was a shocker and put us right up against it against a really well organised Livi team.

Not sure it was, it's early in the season and that was close to the best 11. Ultimately Christie getting sent off cost you.
Livi are a team built to play on that pitch, it won't be the first shock there

Tough loss to take as it gives Rangers the advantage going in to the international break. We know that we are at a stage where every point is critical.
However I still believe we'll win the league. Hearts and Aberdeen have been top well after October before

We got suckered into a scrap. Surely Lenny seen that coming? Rangers had a tough shift against them in the cup. Guaranteed if it almost worked against Rangers then Holt would try the same v Celtic. He should have changed about 5 players from Thursday. Fringe players always know they have to scrap and that's what our team missed.
