442?

2013 Evra was on his last legs for the PL. Same could be said about RVP and Rooney.

2013 RVP won that title for us; unreal season for him.

who was the united right back in 2003?

I mean 2013*

Probably about right, though I’d take Robertson over evra.

Rafael played there a fair bit in 2013

evra over Robinson and who plays 442

Alison over DDG as well

Do Liverpool not have a Premiership title winning team we can do a combined 11 with in this instance?

A bit odd to do a combined 11 with a team that won the title and a team only a handful of games into the season.

Rooney was more of a number 10/midfielder/holding mid around that time. Combined 11:

-----------------------------De Gea-----------------------

Jones--------------Vidic--------Rio--------------Evra

------------------------------Rooney

--------------Rooney-----Scholes-----------Nani

------------------------Rooney----RVP-----------------

Prime Evra over Robertson any day of the week, though, it must be said in 2013 he was fading pretty quickly.

As good as evra was I think Robertson is better. Provides a better threat.

I think the only PL left back I would even argue was as good as Patty was A. Cole, but opinions, I guess

Robertson with ease over Evra.

2013 De Gea was superb, a shell of that now though.

GK De Gea
LB Robertson
CB Van Dijk
CB Vidic
RB Alexander-Arnold
MF Milner
MF Scholes
MF Fabinho
FW Mane
FW RVP
FW Salah

Wouldnt have Carrick, Rooney, Scholes, Vidic or Evra from 2013. In fact that 2013 side is one of the worst to ever win the prem imo.

I rate Milner, perpetual motion and ideal for the press that team needs.

Carrick is slower than a week in the jail.

If we're going on 2013 & 2019 form:

GK DDG
LB Robertson
CB VVD
CB Vidic
RB TAA
MF Carrick
MF Scholes
MF Fabinho
FW Mane
FW RVP
FW Salah

If we're assuming everyone is in their prime (or the best we've seen of them for the younger ones):

GK DDG
LB Evra
CB VVD
CB Rio
RB TAA
MF Carrick
MF Scholes
MF Fletcher
FW Giggs
FW RVP
FW Rooney

Putting a 39 year old Scholes in is peak revisionism.

Him and Carrick just keep getting better dont they.

De Gea a shell of what he was after 3 months of bad form 😂

Milner 😂

Rafael was a far better rounded full back than TAA as well who has been roasted by many wingers.
