Only reason to keep him is to protect his legacy.

He has only had 1 transfer window to get the players in he wants.

I would actually be interested in seeing a coherent counter point here.

I can't make one right enough

My favourite thing about him is that he adds a y to the end of most players names. Chongy being my favourite.

It's good that you have created this article because we didn't have anywhere else to discuss the subject.

Maybe he could be demoted back to “caretaker manager”, way back when we weren’t in relegation forn. Ah, good times.

There are plenty of reasons to get rid of the manager.

As not a United fan, the season looks like being a write off as far as top 4 is concerned (Not impossible but unlikely)
You may as well leave him in charge until the summer and then reassess the situation. Also another manager will most likely prefer to move in the summer than mid season.
In fairness to the guy the squad is average at best and that is partly his own doing and partly the boards.

He never addressed midfield for example. This will be no quick fix unless you throw something like £500 million at in in one go.

People need to be patient, football is cyclical and I have no doubt United will be back challenging within 5 years.

Just my opinion mind.

Michael Carrick is other one who needs to follow Ole straight out the door. Love to know what he brings to the table.

So, you admit you know zero about his role, yet want him sacked?

Makes sense

He whispers sweet nothings into Ole's ear on the bench.

Not 1 credible argument for keeping him so far.

If there were a credible argument, you certainly wouldn't be willing to accept it or discuss it, so it's utterly pointless.

The best reason to keep him is that he hasn't had the chance build anywhere close to a complete squad capable of competing for top 4 let alone trophies. Until he does then he can't be judged properly

Are there any signs of United finding a workable playing style or improving in certain aspects since he took over?

Not a joke, it stills seems as big of a mess as when he took over but happy to be corrected

OK. But are you happy to miss out on Poch whilst ole spends another £200m in the summer in the hope Ole improves us ?

It's probably more of a mess than it was.

One view of that is that Ole just hasn't got what it takes and there's no sign of any improvement.

The other view is that Ole has had to take the squad apart and is dealing with a work in progress that badly needs investment, and that we'll start to see improvement later this season and early next.

Ultimately it's not our call.

I don't think the 'Ole in' crowd as the OP likes to claim actually exists.

I think there are United fans who respect the situation he and the club are in, and won't jump the gun to start protesting that we should sack our manager - and ultimately will back our man.

The OP isn't one of them.
