Simply wasent enough in the budget to go after a proper signing in an area you thought was covered.
With a few quid in the bank would have been Cosgrove or Shankland 100%
Instead of a makeweight on Docherty deal <haha>

Go ahead and start actually Lennon has a pretty decent record on such

Well it's hardly groundbreaking news that Rangers don't have a massive budget. The kid knows the league and knows the players he will be up against. If it works out then great. If it doesn't - he goes back to Hibs with no loss of money. A no-brainer really.
