I can’t believe how calm I was during the game. Last week I got really involved in it.
It’s probably because I had to sneakily watch the first half in work and had to make sure I didn’t lose my sh!t
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The therapeutic approach of having a firm belief you never stood a chance. The longer it went on the more prevalent your (misplaced) downbeat mood pervaded.
Probably right up until about the 85th minute when that bit of hope set in before the ecstasy of realism.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Oh no I always believed we had a chance of scoring because their defensive line was bordering on suicidal, and so it proved over both legs.
I didn’t have any expectations as such for tonight but I always believed we could score. I just didn’t think it would be as good a performance as it was.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That’s along the lines of what I was meaning. Not in the terms of you scoring or not, but simply progressing.
I don’t know any bears who had any degree of confidence in reaching the last 16 prior to kick off.
I genuinely thought we would concede 2 or 3 goals tonight.
How the fook can we concede twice against st Johnstone but keep a clean sheet against Braga 😩😩😂😂😂

Braga open the game up as most decent teams do. The teams we play week in and week out shut up shop and when they break they try and pummel you in short bursts.
Defenders minds are more tuned in the bigger the standard.
imo of course

We actually played a lot better than I thought we would and tactically we were excellent.
I actually thought they looked nowhere near the team they did last week but I put a lot of that into how Rangers played.
