Mrs its is a doctor at the general hospital treating most of our cv cases here.

Nationwide lockdown officially began on Sunday, but our daughter came down with a cold and a mild temperature last Friday, so I've been locked in since.

10 mins by car, if I put my foot down !! Senior nurse sent me and my sister whatsapp message saying if we need to be there she will ensure that we CAN get access to the NH. I'm looking at it from the point of view, that no news is good news

The situation is obviously fluid. That's good that you can visit once a week when you are able. Hopefully that might happen at Mum's. All the residents have underlying health issues, Mum has Parkinsons and is not mobile.

Haha. You get expats who've lived here for 25 or 30 years and still don't have a proper grasp on Spanish. Sad really, but they live in their own small social circles and don't venture out of them enough to pick up the language.

I've actually asked around to see if anyone knew of any such people, especially elderly, who might live locally to me in case they need a hand with anything. Anyone here have any relatives in my neck of the woods, just let me know. Happy to help in whatever capacity i am able to.

Anyhow, break time over. Home-schooling my kid now. More fun than I anticipated.

Just had a text from local surgery saying don't call for prescriptions, but ring up and let them know which pharmacy I use and they will send medication there.

Unfortunately now O2 has gone down and I have no voice calls. Hope this resolves soon. I have enough meds for 8 days.
