i agree.

rangers should show they have cause for investigation so they spfl can proceed.

"It has now instigated Rangers to put their seven points forward, which I think are pretty valid.

"I would like to see answers to these even points and I think the SPFL have handled it just dreadfully."

rangers should absolutely show their evidencr in light of deloittes investigation.

i'm sure it will warrant an investigation.

unless it was just schite from the caley chairman trying to get his dream job.

Every single independent person who has had a say in this shambles have been unequivocal in saying it is a mess and should be investigated!! The only ones saying otherwise are tims!! Go figure!!

I agree it should be investigated and it was. Case closed.

Unless rangers have any more evidence then it stays closed.

even the investigation from the internal auditors deloitte raises a further question.

Why did you wait to 20:30 to check your email filter when you had 3 missing votes? Thats the first thing you expect to be checked,

Especially when 2 phonecalls with John Nelms at 17:39 and 17:50 Eric Drysdale confirm they had sent it.

Not really. I have a junk folder, but our company also use a Brigantia spam thing. I get an email from them first thing in the morning, and just after 4pm. Most of my spam emails go in there, so it’s like the quarantine thing. I think they said they had to contact the 3rd party provider to see if there was anything there and have it released?!

For supporters of a club who historically have called 'foul play' on everything from the religious beliefs of referees and members of the SFA; I do find it a bit odd that they are remaining 'silently dignified' on a matter which has clearly been a shambles from start to finish.

Really? you wouldn't check that if you had an important vote with a deadline via email and 3 were missing?

If its the same as the SFA's one(most of the IT set up is at hampden) and every other one i have used then you can access it yourself via a online log-in

Given that emails between the SFA and a member of their association must take place on a very, very frequent basis; you will excuse me for finding it absurd that one has unbelievably found its way into their 'Junk Folder'.

Perhaps just a coincidence...

That’s the point I’m making-I can’t check it. I need to wait until I’ve had an email through to let me know what’s there, or else I would need to get my company to contact whoever it is they use for IT to check it for me.

If it’s coming from a member, I don’t think anyone would think to check there as you would assume it’s fine?! I’ve had problems before with emails from contacts I’ve used plenty of times that haven’t come through simply because there’s been an attachment to it, but don’t know until later that afternoon or the next day.

Plus, they would have to contact the clubs to see if they had actually voted before they would check anywhere else.

I get folk want to be wise after the event and find fault where possible, but sometimes the answers don’t fit what they want to believe.

Thought you were fed up with this and didn’t care about it anyway?

Perhaps you should have read what I said. I have very few items that go to my ‘junk’ folder, instead they go through a quarantine, which I then decide whether to release or not.

Please - you just look at your 'Sent' folder and you can quite clearly see that it has been sent.

Yes - the same as in my line of work.

You receive an instant email (okay - give or take 5 minutes perhaps after the time the original was sent) which provides the basic gist of who it is from and, if, you want to receive it then you decide yes or no then respond appropriately.

Come on - so you see the SFAs email address and think it is 'Spam/Junk'?

Go away FFS

in terms of how the league is decided yes i am.

I dont think either null and void or calling as it is are ideal. Both punish teams unfairly. Its a crap decision but should be voted on in an open and transparent process with no strings attached.

Independent investigation however yes its absolutely needed. I also want a clear out of the SPFL and if this investigation led to that then im even more for it.

Doncaster is at best incompetent, i dont think anyone can deny that. What he gets paid and what he has achieved in his post are a scandal.

MacKenzie and Maclennan again i do think there are serious concerns over their impartiality

spr-I don’t see a need for an investigation as such into what went on. I don’t think it was handled very well by either the clubs or the board, but I think it needs talked through rather than an investigation.

If rangers have something that shows otherwise, then I don’t have a problem with it and there should be one. But apart from what you usually find which is some that aren’t happy with the outcome, I don’t see anything that warrants a clear out and an investigation.

Look - Celtic deserve the title - no qualms about that at all.

What needs a massive overhaul from top to bottom is the SFA - it's a shambles.

How, in the year 2020 we still have such utter incompetent seniority in charge is beyond belief - it really is.

We are nigh-on the laughing stock of UK (and probably beyond) football!

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Actually no rangers issue is:

The preparation and content of the briefing note and papers sent to member clubs with the resolution;

The decision to announce the result of an incomplete vote before all votes had been received;

The decision to disregard the vote submitted by Dundee FC and allow them to vote a second time;

The appropriateness of communications between the Executive of the SPFL and other football governing bodies in relation to completing season 2019/20;

The interaction of SPFL executives with clubs during the voting process including the disclosure to clubs of how other member clubs had voted;

Compliance by the SPFL’s directors with the statutory and common law duties owed by them in relation to the resolution;

and Any other matters which the independent expert considers relevant.
