I am absolutely burst with this ALM narrative. It is an excuse to be racist but pretending you aren't. It is like a God send for the invisible racism in the country
If you don't want to get it, you are never going to get it. BLM is not about poverty, it's not about white people not having bad experiences. It's not about "yeah but this immigrant did a bad thing".
It's about opportunity, it's about sub-conscious bias. It's about an even playing field for all.
I've used this example before but imagine you own a shop and need new staff. Two young 16 year olds apply. One is white from Newton Mearns. The other is black from Sighthill. Your first instinct is to hire the white lad. Don't pretend it's not true. Your first instinct is to trust the white boy and already start wondering if the black lad is trustworthy or not, what gang he runs about in, is he pushing drugs.
If that were two white lads the initial bias isn't there, you are taking them on merit.
The whole poverty thing is a sham as well. It's about opportunity. I grew up in a scheme as did many people on here. I have made a pretty good success of my life I'd say. The ALM will say "see a white boy in poverty too". I got out of that scheme easily. I got out of that because I had the desire to do so as did my family. It was my desire to improve my life that got me there. I had no barriers, I had no social sub-conscious bias to deal with. Why? because I was white.
You can't deny that the sub-conscious bias isn't there. Think back to your school days. There weren't many black kids in Scotland then but there were plenty of Indian and Pakistani children. Go on, tell me honestly you didn't look down on them because their parents owned the local shop because 99% who say they didn't are liars. I did, I am ashamed to say it but I did. i thought I was better than them.
Until Black Lives truly Matter, All Lives DO NOT Matter
Equality is a right, it doesn't deserve credit.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We should treat and view people equally, and I do.
I do not look down on a person based on skin.
That would be weird.
I disagree with the poltics of some in BLM and far left such as antifa.
That is not racist.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Next you’ll be telling us your wife is black and that’s why you can’t be racist.
No wait, you already used that with her being catholic.
Maybe she’s a black catholic?

So she’s basically Gingernuts?

Andy having 'relations' with a 17 year old party girl isn't the same as Saville molesting 13/14 year olds in hospital.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Party girl.
Really? That's where you went with that. Wow.
Groomed sexual abuse victim but to you that's a party girl. Jesus wept.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
White Girls groomed in England by mainly muslim men or married off to old guys in Africa.
Any views?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Its called a crime, a horrific one that carries severe penalties. not sure your point. there are plenty of white people guilty of child abuse too. I will be honest i have never looked into the stats to see if its disproportionate based on population because well that would be crazy.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Some may say they are looking for stats to hide racism behind.
Some may say these kind of statements with "facts" are the rhetoric behind the type of people you see in American History X.
People don't want to admit they are racist. They tend to say "I'm not racist BUT look at this example or these stats.
They don't look at socio-economic, they don't look at why crime is so high in areas and ask what can be done to help. They are too interested in using to justify being racist.
Don't like me saying that these people are the invisible racists then don't look for stats to back up an anti-black narrative
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I am not anti- black.
On child brides in Africa and ME, there are thousands of young lives ruined, and no BLM protests...why?
Jesus wept

What's even grimmer is that the abuse of young mainly white girls , especially in social care, is wide reaching.
If I'm honest I'd say the asian grooming gangs (who should be hung drawn and quartered) has taken the issue and targetted it specifically at one set of vermin when it is a much much bigger issue.
I can't say much but there have been schools that have had a lot of police investigation going in with regard to grooming and the issue is much bigger and not as plain as Asian men and white girls.
*can't say much because the investigations are on going. One school it's been going for nearly 4 years

how this has turned into a which child abuser is worse is a bit crazy but not sure you know the details of the epstein case. They were raped, given drugs and booze, families threatened by private security and the actual authorities, girls groomed then trafficked round the world or forced to groom others. Again we are talking potentilly thousands of cases over decades.
you also keep saying your daughters age his victims were from 12+ im not sure what the grim limit is but 12 is way below it i would hope.
equally still not sure why its been brought up as a point against the BLM movement.
Im guessing from the description though you are talking about the greater manchester area grooming gang? Horrific case.
IT did gather instant public outcry though you seem to be implying nobody cares? It also led to instant policy, law and rule reviews police apologies and changes. Several convictions.
Maybe because they were English white girls or maybe because it was a horrific crime?
I've used this example before but imagine you own a shop and need new staff. Two young 16 year olds apply. One is white from Newton Mearns. The other is black from Sighthill. Your first instinct is to hire the white lad. Don't pretend it's not true. Your first instinct is to trust the white boy and already start wondering if the black lad is trustworthy or not, what gang he runs about in, is he pushing drugs.
------------------------------------------------------
Would the same apply if the shop owner was Black, would the shop owner choose the White lad in this scenario.
Let's say the shop owner is Asian, who would that shop owner choose in that situation?

Anyone complaining either doesn't fully understand or is showing willful ignorance. You are either racists or helpful idiots for racists.
Black lives have been treated as less than white ones be that in police brutality, institutionalised racism or in opportunities afforded.
Black lives matter doesn't mean only black lives matter, it means we are supporting black lives because they are the ones facing these problems. Black lives are the house on fire and white lives are the house not on fire down the road, you wouldn't be outside the house on fire shouting to the fire brigade you house matters unless you're a massive bell.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Exactly, its a big fallacy to think BLM therefore any other life doesnt matter. Its not exclusive.
There seems to be far more racism against black people than any other colour.
I dont get why grooming gangs are being equated with BLM, BLM aren't marching to support grooming gangs ffs.

Bluebells tactics sadly. He seems to think white people are the minority in his story
I am sick and tired of this whole BLM rubbish to be honest.
Being called 'white privileged' - what a load of baws.
If being 'white privileged' means growing up wearing hand me down clothes and being 3rd in the bath (using the same water) after my Dad and older brother then sure - I was really 'privileged'.
Another point - I have saw good friends who were by far the 'best candidate' for positions being overlooked because of the colour of their skin (caucasian). You see - quotas had to be met.
The reason there are not as many black managers is because, quite frankly, none so far have proven to be any good - Sol Campbell being the prime example. You earn the right to be a manager - you don't automatically get the gig because of the colour of your skin.

What we're the jobs your friends were going for? Was there a scheme in place already to help minority candidates get to the interview stag? How do you know they were the best fit for the role?

We should treat and view people equally, and I do.
I do not look down on a person based on skin.
That would be weird.
I disagree with the poltics of some in BLM and far left such as antifa.
That is not racist.

Andy having 'relations' with a 17 year old party girl isn't the same as Saville molesting 13/14 year olds in hospital.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Party girl.
Really? That's where you went with that. Wow.
Groomed sexual abuse victim but to you that's a party girl. Jesus wept.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I watched that filthy rich on Netflix. Grim
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Watch Three Little Girls about muslim men raping, beating and drugging 12 year old white English girls.
Grimmer
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What's even grimmer is that the abuse of young mainly white girls , especially in social care, is wide reaching.

What has this got to do with the BLM movement which is about equality for black people?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Haha - you actually believe this?

Why is that grimmer?
Ah I see, because one involves Muslim or men of colour committing the crime.
Predictable as ever.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
erm the epstein one is the same girls from the age of 12. Its believed thousands of them recruited by a network of victims from their schools as if they got him someoenlse he would let them go.
I haven't watched the other one, although i might but im sure its equally as sickening. Im not sure though how it would be grimmer. dont know how the grim points work
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Girls my daughter's age raped, beaten, given drugs and booze, families threatened by Muslim gangs to send their daughter out of the house to be used....some killed.
As I say, grimmer.
But they are only white English girls from working class backgrounds, so you boys and BLM might have missed al that.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
how this has turned into a which child abuser is worse is a bit crazy but not sure you know the details of the epstein case.
