Something is definitely not right between him and the club.

Personally think he’ll end up back at City when Sane goes to Bayern. Hope not! #7 shirt at OT is crying out for him!

I doubt it personally, I think he'll come to us this summer.

Nothing pointing to City having any interest. They never tend to spend the really huge fees but who knows in football.

I'm doubting we'll be able to cough up the cash for him

I agree, I think they're planning next season without him in my opinion.

I know, just a feeling.
How many times have we been linked with a top player for months and months then he ends up elsewhere?

Fingers crossed he comes

We'll go mad if we don't get him, Ed Woodward would be under massive pressure as well in my opinion.

You will get him if you get CL. You won't if you don't.

Getting CL may well prove to be a factor.

Don’t think that’s set in stone either.

I'll be frustrated if this deal somehow falls through.

However, i think we are the likeliest option for him even under current circumstances.

I also think there maybe a stumbling block with Dortmund in that they would still like Mason Greenwood, even if it was only a season long loan. I think our board are digging their heels in to resist this. Ole prefering to keep all his promising young attacking talent together - here at United.

If the only way to get him is to send Greenwood on loan I think we should accept.

Wouldn’t be my first choice but could actually benefit all parties in the long run.

It could prove useful for all parties but it would still feel like we're a little short changed.

not sure that CL will be quite the big factor it usually is, the guy is still young, has a whole career ahead of him, and can certainly afford to skip one year of it (and when did dortmund last trouble the latter stages of the tournament?)

besides, who knows what next season's CL will look like? they don't even have time to follow the usual format - qualifiers would usually be starting soon - and it is likely to be BCD for the rest of this year I'd have thought. so it's not quite the big shiny carrot it usually is, and i doubt he'll make a decision solely based on that.

but yeah, he seems to have been largely shunned since the restart, which does indicate a big issue between him and the club.

Is he on the right of the bench or the left?

if he comes on at some point we can overanalyse his waves to the camera at the end

He's a right sided player who comes into his own on the left flank of the bench

Solskjær asked about the chances he'll sign someone from Dortmund: (laughs) "I'm good at math, but I can't answer that question. There are many good footballers on many teams."

"The three months of lockdown and for how long we'll have to play in front of empty stands, if we'll play in the Champions League next season. There are many things like that which will be factors in terms of what we can do when the season is over."

"If something is in front of us screaming that it's sensible, both from a sporting and a financial perspective — I know we're going to try, but you can't make any promises."

He’s left sided, so he’s best off the right side of the bench.

On the bench? Oh my god, this is massive, absolutely massive..

Right, so if he's left out of the team then he's best on the right of the bench; but if he's right on the team sheet, he's best on the left, a bit like Best?

Doesn’t want to get injured ahead of his move to us.
