Am WFH and after near 4 months of covid 19 backdrop, I think we need a laugh and release from reality.

Shooting up as I type.

Shout out to Mighty from back then, and now... as although we are opposites in many political ways, we are brothers in life.

Never a nasty word between us, even though on most things politics, we differ....if only parties and social media could be like this.

One Celtic fan, left winger and remainer I will never forget.

Sorry, Bad taste....dark humour, mate.

Just beer as usual after boring 7.30 WFH from March 18th.

You were about early on too Duke, and a good man and bluenose.

Don't think we ever crossed swords or Chibs

Tbab, could you go on that politics page and recount your story about the African guy you sold a car to who was apprehensive about driving such a nice car while being black? I don't remember the details, but you did say he got some harassment I believe.

Both, it's mental season here.

Think I tried to filter you last week, but failed...then unfiltered everyone today.

Managed to arrange a fight with a Scouser inbetween.

Apologies as ever for being me here, and clashing with you, being you.

We should stay away fae punters, pal.

I fight with family, friends, neighbours, guys in other cars, guys with dogs that scare my daughter.....I don't need to widen the net to Canada, lol

Earliest memory - some bird in the office saying they'd noticed how careful I was with monitor and desk hygiene as I was regularly cleaning both - they were impressed. Aye, doll spent the morning spraying coffee and stifling guffaws.

Yea, I have posted it there to highlight racism and police racism too. Will sneak it in to that thread to reveal my non racist side there again.

Zimbabwe guy was in love with the Range Rover,, lowered, big white shiny with huge wheels...

I sought 9k but he only had 7.5, so let him off with 3 month payments...never do that for a white local btw lol.

He was a mental health nurse and we just bonded right away, so I trusted him to pay the difference.

Oh, forgot your story angle, mate.

On test drive around Carrick, I say in back with two black guys driving and passing a police car, we got weird looks of the polis.

Then, coming back to pay 500 instalments, Oscar, as he called himself, told me about being followed by cops up a motorway, but I never was....then on his last payment he showed me where a sad racist or loser had keyed his beautiful Range Rover outside his house in Belfast.

It's weird telllin this story, but in London and Belfast, some of my best encounters were not with whitey lol

<What are your best or fav early 606 memories?>

I'm talking the auld bbc here and my response was shock.

I came to bbc606 a from aol sport. It was self moderating & had posters

from every SPL club couple dozen of female posters as well. We all

settled for a Gers guy who was in Fire & Rescue who had some

unoccupied hours. Fans routinely called out their own when needed so it

worked. Annual re-election but 100% vote for 'FireHose' to continue.

BBC606 was Blue Peter lights out 11.00 & One Strike ye're oot.

JA606 was like a breath of fresh air imo.

Glad I signed up 9+ years ago.
