I suspect maybe more a forlorn hope that we will stl get big Lurch. We have been linked with Woodman a couple of times but these rumours just don't cut it with me. Know nothing about Marcus Bettinelli

and thankfully we have appeared to have moved on from David Marshall as well

I think Forster is being a bit of an idiot by not trying to stay, and twisting Southampton’s arm to make it happen. Some players work out better at one club better than they ever will elsewhere and he looks a prime example of it. It’s a perfect match, but maybe he’s too dopey to see it.

Genuinely never heard of either of them

Has he not been told to stay and fight for a start at Southampton ????

Even though there's a deal in place for another loan which he doesn't want but he is interested in a permanent transfer which is too expensive for us????

Woodman is decent

Can't say I know much of the other

The important thing is that we are looking at other options in case Lurch leaves us in the lurch

Watched the warm up for Arsenal v Leicester. Dope Luiz is leading one of the lines. Physio does the demo and Luiz just does wtf he wants and the guys following him do what the physio did.

Bettinelli had a season on loan at Dartford when he was young and we were in the conference. Easily the best keeper we have had in my lifetime, and we had international keepers like Jason Brown and Deren Ibrahim.
Should do well in the SPL imo.

Repeating myself here from Jan 2019.

Forster is the fella we should push the boat out for season 20/21.

Eddy etc would be great.

But Goalie is #1 for me.

Would be happy if you sign either of those, know absolutely hee haw about them at all but at least it would mean no Forster

I'd post the same if I was a Bear.

Bettinelli got injured when Fulham were in the premier last season and never got back in I'm sure. Briefly got into England squad just after World Cup. He'd probably not be much of a drop off from Forster.

I think Eduard is our big game player but I think Forester has often been our next most important player.
I can understand why others accept we must break the bank on this deal.
Fraser's contribution has been huge.
The defence has not looked like shipping goals and I think that's down to him.
Prefer to go into this season with a proven settled back line.

This is a bit different because FF isn’t Our player.
But every time We’ve sold a player for money, We end up with a big hole in the team.
I’ve heard some complain or notice a jealousy at Our privileged position of having two players for each spot. Is Our back up no good here? Can’t Bain fill the shirt even temporarily?
Now PL does a fantastic job of keeping the bank balance topped up.
Is not replacing FF an oversight?
I agree it’s a mistake not addressing it before CL qualifiers and entering such a massive season with any questions over the squad is a mistake.
But I also agree having Bain or a different player as No. 1 shouldn’t put the Title at risk.
A Celtic without FF can win 10IAR.
The squad is bursting with talent and full of winners.
But can this team gain CL football past Christmas? I hope so.
Our Euro income is a big part of PL’s success as the money man.
Players sold their values soared on the back of good performances in Europe.
Any dips could have financial consequences bigger than the price tag on FF head.
