This. However it isn’t going to happen. This will drag on and be exactly the same as the Maguire signing last year.

Ed will hopefully go with an offer and stick to it and look elsewhere if Dortmund don’t agree because Dortmund will drag it out.

I feel we’re not far away now in my opinion.

By all accounts Dortmund have set their own 'deadline' as 10th August.

Heard his first choice would be Pool rather than Man Utd. Apparently he rates Plopp very highly, he’d rather work with him ahead of Ole.

I can’t see Pool spending that much money, when they already have Mane and Salah. Unless Klopp slots him in Firminho’s place !!!

Thus leaving Man Utd free to negotiate with Dortmund. That said, I don’t think thy will drop much from their asking price !!!

He’d be some signing for you though

Depends on the player really. I’m sure numerous players have joined clubs that weren’t their 1st choice and been massive successes.

While I'd say Sacho isn't as good as either Salah or Mane at the moment he is also 8 years younger so would have time but not sure how much he'd be willing to sit on the bench. Liverpool are clearly better than us at the moment and he would have better chance of winning trophies there but I can't see Liverpool spending the sort of money needed.

He's ours if we can agree a fee, just about who caves in first, us or Dortmund.

Whether it's a good idea or not, he's a professional and doesn't have to join us if he doesn't want to. I'm sure if we do get him but his preference was always Liverpool I'd expect him to give 100% for us.

He's not a moany little b-tch like Barca we win.

no doubt this "sancho prefers liverpool" story is wholly reliable, and straight from the player's mouth, rather than just idle press gossip.

Liverpool are a top team but are generally anolder team than us too.

Things change quickly in football.

He may have a better chance of winning trophies immediately but he’s only 20.
