Haha okay Don, I'm sure you have lots as examples as ever. Have you ever thought about moaning all the time just to mix things up a bit?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
i could give you plenty of examples, as i'm sure you're aware. you have the most casual relationship with the facts of almost any poster on here, regularly post stuff that is simply not true, sometimes people call you out on it, sometimes they let it slide.

but if anyone does want to amuse themselves, the next time hoody says "player x did this", or "club y did that", spend 60 seconds checking this "fact" and see where it leads you.

Go on then

well, i'd be happy to, if we hadn't done this before a number of times. you chat sh!t, i call you out on it, and you then wander off, completely unabashed, ready to do the same thing all over again.

off the top of my head you've been caught out making confident statements about united's spending vs liverpool in the 90s, urban myths about tv shows, and "one of your favourite things in football", all of which turned out to be factually incorrect.

even on here your initial comment is very far from the best example of this, but summing up pogba's time at united as "he banged in a couple of penalties" isn't the most accurate assessment i could think of.

Oh right, you'll write all that but you can even quote me correctly.

which bit about that was incorrect? feel free to tell everyone the full story, rather than zeroing in on me misquoting a word or so. and i did say off the top of my head, i don't have your time or patience to trawl through old posts to make petty points.

Pogba is United's best player.

And he does get a lot of flak.

But it is from people that have already demonstrated stupidity not necessarily xenophobia - although that, along with all the other irrational cobblers (phobias), is rife on these forums.

But getting back to Pogba. He does more than enough, in terms of contribution, to justify his selection. It's not his fault that dedpite those along side him being reliable and/ or excellent he has cack in front of him and a selection of direness - lindelof, bailly, fosu mensah, coco - behind him

posted on 27/9/20

i've actually missed iamme referring to coco, these days he usually posts team line-ups without even naming a GK.

posted on 27/9/20

Well what you actually said was that I do it regularly and in support of you posted an example of me being humble, questing myself on your behalf and explaining that it doesn't form a large part of my content which is from months ago so yeah, are you drunk mate?

What an arrogant poster you are OP;
You write an article with your opinion on Pogba.
The people who disagree with you are
ignorant, bigoted and xenophobic.
When they just have a different opinion.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ridiculous isn't it? Because someone doesn't agree with his opinion on Pogba they are racist.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I condemn people's hypocrisy and xenophobia. They turn a blind eye on English players' (black or white) poor performances and vent their frustration on foreign players (black and white). And by the way, I'm white.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
More tripe. If players don't try as much as others they will be criticised. It's not about performance levels. It's about actually trying their hardest. Nothing to do with with skin colour or nationality. Totally out of order branding people as racist because they don't agree with your assessment of a player.

Ok, I invite you to review all Rashford's games since the restart, culminating in his horror show in the Euopa League semifinal, and show me one game in which he tried hard, or even tried to be less selfish, and I will apologize to you.

We've already done this. This lad returned frim an injury that can take up to 18 months to fully recover. He was rushed back because we needed him to help secure CL football. Try and use your brain. In view of the fact that he wasn't fully fit and obviously didn't have his usual athleticism, do you think that he might have been advised to pick his runs? To conserve his energy? To not put undue stress on his body?

But much worse is you're lazy assumption that people who have a different viewpoint than your4are racist etc. To which I take offence and think an apology is due

2 things 52:
1) pogba seems to get slightly different criticism to the others - they are accused of being not good enough (victor), or not good enough and physically poor (fat shaw, slow maguire). pogba constantly is criticised for his mentality - lazy, can't be bothered, doesn't want to be here. if shaw loses his man, he lacks awarenessl if pogba does, he doesn't care.

that kind of criticism is much more insidious, and has been a feature of criticism of him for as long as i can remember.

2) no idea why lindelof keeps gaining an "h"!

enlish player agenda is rife in the media. They will go out of their way to criticise non english players. That is why poor performances from the likes of jones and lingard went unmentioned for years
why martial and pogba will get slaughtered at every opportunity while rasford can do no wrong
ddg was poor but i could not help but feel part of the ott criticism was because they couldn't wait to see a fellow english man as #1
