Depends on your definition of fair I suppose. They're definitely not one of the fairest in terms of economic distribution - those inequalities are defined and evidenced.

You overlay ethnicity on those socio-economic inequalities and the results are unsurprising.

I'm not saying the US is appalling, there are very clearly much, much worse examples to be found, but I don't think there's a huge amount of substance behind any claim that they're one of the fairest countries in the world.

That's the way systems work.

UKIP got 5 million votes and one seat and SNP and DUP go a fraction of that and 50 seats.

Greens lose out too.

There are green and Libertarian parties standing in America, yet few vote for them, preferring Trump or Biden, so that does not make sense either.
