Relegation battle incoming

posted on 4/10/20

It’s hilarious that think Ole is the best possible man for us. Yes, the owners suck. But that doesn’t mean our manager has to suck too.

posted on 4/10/20

Poch took over from Tim Sherwood when we were a complete shambles and got very little investment to make us a perennial top 4 team.

Even without backing poch would improve you a lot.

A new manager won’t do a thing.

Problems are higher up. Fans who actually have any sort of understanding of the club realise this.

And before you go on a rant about Ole, he inherited a shiiitshow from Mourinho and hit his target of CL qualification last year playing the best footy we’ve seen since SAF left.

The club (as they have done for the past 7 years) have let the manager down this summer.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Nonsense
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Your right.

Let’s sack another manager. Has worked out so well so far hasn’t it?

When will idiots like you realise the problem isn’t the manager. It’s the setup of the club and the people who run it.

Barcelona didn’t.

They didn’t know it was the right choice for him to join us? Weird comment.

Deep down our fans know this. I hope. I think they just have sacking fatigue.

I don't get the argument of structure etc.

For me it's this simple. This squad that we have isn't individually worse than other teams outside of city and LFC possibly.

But as a team we are clueless. That's management/coaching

Static, out of position , unable to keep the ball etc with the quality we have is management/coaching

If likes of biesla can get a championship side to play the way they do then what could he achieve with our players?

Our problems start with out dug out. Ffs carrick?

Anyone calling for oles head when we have the worst structure in football is a ducking donkey. Ed, Judge and the Glazers. The buck stops with them because in 2 years you clowns will be calling for Pochettinos head.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Yup.

Same misguided rhetoric that was thrown at moyes, lvg, Jose and OGS will be inherited by whoever comes in.

Bit of a radical thought but, as a football club, why not get an actual premier league football team in place before making decisions about managers/coaches.

The problems are at board level and sacking Ole would just be the start of another cycle.

Bringing in a new manager at the end of the transfer window, after two defeats and when the current manager did as well as could reasonably be expected, does not strike me as a good idea.

I've nothing against Pochettino, but let's not pretend it's a no-brainer like getting a Klopp or a Guardiola. I doubt he'd have done any better than Solskjaer last season.

This season has started terribly and I think we're in for a grim October but, like last season, we will have periods where we look good. We're only a few games in.

I get the blame with Ed and the Glazers, but looking into this transfer window, do people really think signing Sancho would have been the solution to our problems? If not then the problems lies with the manager because he ignored the areas we need to address in DM and CB. This is on Ole and bringing in Poch would at least be a way in the right direction.

How was our first 3 prem games the fault of the set up of the club, Totally down the the manager and coaches. Signings aside. We have a much better first 11 then all 3 but have a clueless manager in charge.

Poch would 100% get more out of your squad. Tactically and mentally.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

It’s a weird group hypnosis that thinks otherwise.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Where do you think Poch would have finished last season? I don't think he'd be any higher than 3rd. He might have accrued a few more points.

Your problems are bigger than just ole, like us at Arsenal we won’t be back near the top until we have big change at the very top. However ole is a terrible manager, you have a talented squad, despite how śhît your owners our, a better manager could get your team playing way better

----------------------------------------------------------------------
It would be. But I suppose the question could and probably should be asked as to if we were to sort out the structure of the club, whether Ole would actually be good enough to win trophies and take the club back to the top. I doubt it. So, just because the structure and board are a problem, that doesn't mean that the manager is good enough. It's not mutually exclusive

66 points last season is hardly something to be hugely proud of. Poch had a style of football that would get fans excited about the direction the side was going and we’d hopefully see the competency that Spurs fans saw from 2015-2019 which was very good.
