Don't like the Beatles much either. Can't relate to them in any way.

Every era has its stars, and the Beatles were at the very top in their day.

For me the biggest talent in the music industry of all time and to think he was only forty when he was murdered. Imagine, no pun intended, the music he could have produced for the next couple of decades. An absolute travesty that the world was robbed of his genius.

You weren't to know but it's an old joke that I have been a part of.

My ex father in law is a huge beatles fan and my ex mil loves freddie mercury. I have a little ex nephew in law named jude so can see what I mean when I say huge fans

The argument used to be who was better and I used to say Abba and a huge argument would ensue, all friendly of course

Saw a beatles thread on another forum and so out Abba were better and all hell broke loose

Saw this and couldn't help myself

That said I wouldn't say I was a beatles fan in anyway or queen tbh. However listened to more queen over the years

As for ABBA danced with my ex Mrs to dancing queen so have a soft spot for it. Good memories
