Man has high standards and passion, much more deserving captain than slabhead

My thoughts too. Ole took him off though, I’d presumed to save his legs but perhaps there was more to it.

Make him player manager lol

Shame it wasn't the manager these things instead.

He is right. A club like Manchester United shouldn't be losing like that especially to a club like Tottenham. Heads should have rolled in my personal opinion after that

I read somewhere he had a history of laying into teammates when he didn’t think they met his standards at Lisbon. Which is what we need.

If he's complaining about the tactics in front of everyone that ain't good.

Pochetino tried to sign him so it would be good to have players who the new manager clearly likes. Would love him to be captain.

One thing people haven’t mentioned about Maguire is his cowardly refusal to come out and talk to the media after the losses. Beeks (weirdly) came out to speak after the Palacd game and I think Shaw came out after the Spurs loss.

Did Maguire refuse? Is that an actual thing?

I think you're over generous to Bruno about this incident.

The details that came out of United dressing room at Half time is that Ole told Bruno he is going to be subbed, I believe because Ole thought Bruno looked tired, and the player took offence to this and said a few chosen words to Ole!

You don’t sack a manager after one horror result. On the same weekend, City lost 5-2 and Liverpool 7-2! And City & Liverpool has 11 men on the pitch for the entirety of the game.

There remains a fitness issue and some shape/tactical issues + at the time, no major developments within the transfer-wise. There’s also the VAR & no-crowd element to the game at the moment that is throwing up all sorts of curve balls. All of these things have to be taken into account, and a little patience needed.

It’s going to be a really strange season for many teams.

Apparently Bruno shouted ‘fack the Norwegian civilisation’ .

Apparently.

My bad. I don’t mean he refused (though he may have). More than as captain you’d have thought he would have come out and spoke. Just weird they sent out Beeks on his debut as a sub to speak and then Shaw

tbh, Maguire is like one of those Easter Island statues, moves even slower and if you look at one of our goals, Bruno actually screams and gesticulates at Maguire!

It would be of no surprise that the club have told Maguire not to talk to the media because he's a criminal.

It showed who is a top 4 side tbh. We have been in top 4 every season bar last.
You made it top 4 in a season marred with controversies and shenanigans of 5 subs, which helped Ole no end with such a big squad.

I am guessing you'll be back to 6th again - your rightful place, bless <laugh<

The bookies have Ole as the next manager to be sacked and if we lose to Newcastle imo he’ll be gone. Massive game and hopefully Telles has the debut if his life as Shaw is very much not the guy.

I would be absolutely amazed if Ole got sacked after the next game. If he does that would indicate he's lost the dressing room.

He just needs time.

You are not that good yourselves tbh. If you are a top 4 side then thag shows how weak the Premier league currently is. Bar a couple of very good attacking players I really don't rate Spurs which makes this loss all the more worse imo

Its not just one horror result. It is the manner of the losses and worst of all the performances. I don't ever remember us playing this bad 3 games on the trot. We finished 3rd last season however I believe it was our 2nd lowest points total in the Premier League era. He has done a good job in terms of steadying the ship however who honestly believes Ole is the right man to take us to the next level?
We are at risk of falling further and further behind imo. Love Ole but I am sorry he isn't good enough and giving him all the time in the world won't help as I feel his in game management especially is as poor as I have seen
