why people come on here and insist on talking out of their backside about matters they know nothing about is completely beyond me.

If struggling is one season making 86 points and finishing 7 points behind the champions in 2nd place and the next is making top 4 and a CL final then what the hell do we call what is happening with Ole? 😂😂😂

His conviction was quashed under Greek law. Maguire is as innocent as you until his re-trial which can take place any time in the next eight years.

So why would Ole have stripped him of his captaincy over this incident?

With 3rd and 3 Semi Finals? Getting there.

I don’t think people that want a better manager think it’s a magic bullet.

Should have kept LVG or Mourinho. Failing that, bring in a proper manager now rather than a fella well out of his depth.

Why wouldn’t people want a better manager? How many managers did we sack before we got SAF? Is there a point when just because some fans get sick of sacking managers that we should stop and not want a better guy?

People wanted a better manager than Moyes - we got one and results improved.

People wanted a better manager than LVG - we got one and results improved.

People wanted a better manager than Jose - we didn’t get one and results got worse.

People now want a better manager than OGS - to be continued.

And eventually he got sacked because he underperformed and his stats in his last calendar year at Spurs shows that. Alli, Rose, and Dier went backwards. Sanchez never got any better, couldn't get the best out of Davies and Aurier. Lucas Moura hasn't improved from when he was at PSG.

Robb, you'll be complaining about Ed if Pochettino comes in and faces the same issues. Getting him now and not getting a DoF is setting him up for failure. He isn't a magic bullet to fix our ills. Your hatred for Ole clouds your judgement.

SAF would have been sacked if he was hired in the current situation. Different time then and even then the pressure was on. Unlike then though, we don't have footballing people in charge of decision making.

I'd love it if Ole would be the guy to get us winning again. However, the longer he's in the job the less faith I have

I've absolutely no doubt he's doing the best for the club and that he is looking at the long term future but I'm wondering if that is at the expense of the short term. Hopefully he'll prove this fickle fan wrong and get us firing again after the international break. I'd be delighted if he did. If results continue to disappoint though then I can see him gone by the next window.

No one hates Ole. You debate like a child if you use language like that. I, like many many people in this world of ours think Ole is out of his depth. Hardly some kind of revelation.

As for your hilariously inept description of his time at Spurs, it’s genuinely amazing how wrong one person can be.

And finally, as for complaining about Ed - I do that now. As we all should. No one, least of all me has said that Poch is a guarantee of anything. He could fail. The next 10 managers could fail under Ed. The only person making definitive statements is you by saying no one will succeed under Ed. I personally think (and again, the majority of people in the football world agree) that Poch is a better fit for us under Ed than Ole. Maybe I (we) will be wrong. But for those of us who think Poch is the better manager, the club should make the smart choice and bring him in before someone else snaps him up.

The really funny thing here is that you think Ole is a victim of Ed’s incompetence but Ole is part of that. He hired him.

posted on 14/10/20

Ed’s incompetence is one of the biggest reasons why the club need someone better qualified to manage the team than Ole.

Despite all the money and trying to buy success your club is a shambles on the inside. A manager completely and utterly out of his depth. He didn't even have the balls to remove Maguire from the captaincy ffs
----------------------------------------------------------------------
why would he, he has a retrial and is yet to be charged
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Surely he was charged before he went to trial,or do the Greeks wait for a conviction before they charge people?

Captain wrestling another player to the ground that led to us conceding a goal, my word I would give the captain a right go too.

Is the manager/coach the issue or the structure of the club? Or both?

Keep on sacking managers seems like rinse and repeat as mentioned before.

I'm not convinced Poch will do much - maybe short term, but is he the answer?
