I'd argue possibly Kovacic at Chelsea as well as Hojbjerg at Spurs currently in all fairness.

Man Utd is Fernandes, Martial, Greenwood. Also Romero is a better goalkeeper than De Gea. Even Henderson is a better goalkeeper than De Gea. If it was based on form De Gea would be our third choice goalkeeper but Solskjaer plays him as he is on big wages.

Look at last season cup competitions. Romero barely dos anything wrong. De Gea comes in and concedes pretty much any shot on goal against him. So many games we conceded last season when opposition expected goals was 0 and all De Gea had to do was make 1 or 2 basic saves to keep another 10 clean sheets but he let them in and cost us many points.

Also De Gea save percentage can be misleading as he spills basic shots that lead to goals against us.

Our last 2 clean sheets at home have come in games De Gea had to save 1 basic shot. Normally if the opposition have 2 shots on target we concede.

Speaking for my team, not sure I agree with some suggestions so far from OP or comments.

Azpi was good last season and still a strong option but he is in competition with Reece James who has his own qualities. As such when Azpi is out it is not like we necessarily struggle or need him to function at our best.

Kante hasn’t been at his best for a while now, there is a lot of debate right now over whether he should be dropped.

Werner, too early to call him MVP I guess. Of course he is one of the first names on team sheet at this point.

For us I would say MVP right now are Pulisic, Silva and Mendy. Players who it seems we really do need in our side to function. Hopefully end of season Ziyech Havertz and Werner will be in contention

Bale, what has he done for spurs to date

No Salah

3. Firmino

Not sure how Bale gets into the list of Spurs‘ top three most important players. How many minutes has he played?

At United, for me, it’s:

1. Bruno
2. Maguire
3. Rashford

Really, it’s a matter of who is available when your best and most consistent players are unavailable, and the difference in points/results you’d likely see.

If we lost Bruno, we’d have DVB. He might be a decent stand-in, but we haven’t seen him week-in, week-out and Bruno is absolutely key to Ole’s system.

Lose Maguire and our CB partnership is Lindelof, who’s no leader and poor in the air, plus one of a rotating bunch of crocks.

Lose Rashford and we’re playing Dan James on the left every week or moving Martial out of the position we’ve worked so hard to get him firing in.

I think like United, for Liverpool, what really makes a difference is the quality of the backup options, as demonstrated last night.

Lose VVD and you’ve got an inconsistent bunch of crocks trying to hold the defence together.

Lose Firmino and you have Jota. I haven’t watched how Klopp has used him and if he’s capable of playing the same role as Firmino, but on paper at least, that doesn’t look like as big a problem as losing Mané and having to play Origi in his stead.

Bale is selected on future prediction? Right now he isn't that important yet to the team.

I'd say Hojbjerg is becoming more and more important to Spurs.

Are you for real dude?
Give the guy the slack!
The only reason he has conceded silly goals is because your defense is as solid as a pasta sieve

He gets hardly any protection in front of him, with the two CBs unable to provide him with that.

Many of your fans want maguire dropped. Lindelof and the new kid apparently is the preferred combo

Jota plays in place of Mane. Normally Minamino plays in place of Firmino. Origi only plays when we have rested three of the front line.

1. Mane
2. VVD
3. Alisson

I would normally have put Firmino top but he hasn't been great for a good while now.

1) VVD - Obvious
2) Hendo - We miss his leadership
3) Mane - He is the driving force

Also we've conceded one goal in three games since VVD was injured. I wouldn't say they're inconsistent, or crocks, perhaps Matip.
