----------------------------------------------------------------------
He'd only ever appear in about 10 games at that level due to his discipline issues.

Horrible little player. Thinks he is a prime Suarez but in reality he's a prime Kezman

He would probably get goals in the PL though as I do think he has the ability, but his discipline issues are not worth the price.

Both would survive. What is more once the money starts buildingg up both would thrive. Two big clubs.

How about Dundee and Dundee United? Two big clubs who have been in European Cup/Uefa Cup semis and finals and have won their domestic league. That puts them at about Leeds/Spurs level. With the money the EPL brings, they would be above them easily.

both would get relegated easily... both squads arent good enough.

plus they wouldnt be able to attract top players as up there its all angry scotsmen in skirts eating haggis and drinking irn bru, screaming and shouting in a language no normal person can understand.

well thats my opionion.. no offence

Would like to see what players they'd be able to bring in with the money from the PL.

posted on 30/10/20

With their current squads they would probably be bottom half clubs, but in the medium to long term, with the extra money, they would both be top 6 clubs within a few years, and ultimately two of the biggest clubs in the league I imagine.

I was thinking more you can’t lick them then I realised that was a mistake
Seriously though I fookin hate this debate with a passion
Why would we want to go there
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's all hypothetical anyway, you will always get compared to the PL no matter if you go there or not because you run away with the sub-standard league you currently play in.

The most obvious thing would be for Rangers and Celtic to merge and join the PL. Double the fanbase, 110,000 seater stadium, double the squad size, double the number of sectarian songs. It all makes total sense.

With current squads.. bottom half of the table.

Players would raise their game each week knowing that better players can be brought in to replace them, and the fact it'd be their debut season in the PL.

On current form, Celtic would struggle though as we've been playing poorly and can't defend set pieces for sh¡t

How many different sides have won the EPL In the last 15 years?
I don’t care about being compared to the EPL I live in Scotland the team I love play in Scotland
Self important coonts tbh thinking anyone wants to play there
Ram it up yer Gary glitter
Hope that describes my opinion on moving
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Nobody said anything about actually moving, it's all in theory.

Play in Scotland if you wish, that's where you belong, yes nobody is arguing that. Just wanted to know where you'd think you would fair in the PL as ultimately, you will always be compared to the teams in the PL whilst you remain at the levels you're both currently at.

I don't think we are often compared to teams down South. Except by some people down South.

I reckon it's because you fancy us. Is that it? Kilts do something for you?

They are Scottish, we are English. Should never happen.

While we are at feck off the Welsh teams also to the welsh league.

When the European Superleague starts there will be five or six slots for the premier league to fill with the Scottish contingent. 4 Scottish teams and five teams promoted to the Premier league from the Championship.
