Bielsa is not a Myth

He's a Mythta

Watched the game today and Leeds are without doubt easy on the eye, but some of their defending is horrendous. As Leeds fans have mentioned above their squad is sprinkled with Championship players and frankly it shows when they try and play out of defence sometimes. Would be interesting to see how Biellsa gets one when he signs a few more Premier quality players. Could really propel them forward.

Going forward they are excellent to watch although the quality of the final ball let them down today.

Felt a little bit sorry for Spurs today though. Hoddle and co creaming themselves over Leeds' football philosophy every five minutes and rather glossed over the fact Spurs were 3-0 up and comfortable.

As a Leeds fan it actually gets tiresome hearing Hoddle and co go on and on about it.

I'd love Bielsa to speak to some defence oriented coaches for how to address issues at the back, not sure it will ever happen.

all our central defenders are injured

To be fair we have a young kid in goal, a right back as a centre back, two midfielders at right and left back and another centre back who would be fifth choice but for injuries.

Our Achilles heel is giving the ball away cheaply and it’s costing us far more than it did in the Championship.

We will still win enough games to stay up though. Not worried about that to be honest. Nor am I getting upset at losing against teams like Spurs, who have a couple of world class strikers. Imagine them in our team today!

It should be mentioned that when Bielsa ended up on the so called best manager list it wasn't Leeds fans that put him there!..

It was cluless people in football!..

And another for the so called top bods in managment!..

How many of them would have taken these players from the Championship and have them performing the way they are in the Premiership if they had them?..

Some of this team wouldn't have got in the top six squads before now, but I think most of them would now, and that's down to great management and people that will do their all for their coach!..

Its almost as if Bielsa should've won the treble with Bilbao, Marseille, Espanyol and Lille.

And before you mention it, he has been offered tops jobs and turned them down. That's not how he works....he likes projects and not clubs that are ruled by money.
