Can we all stop saying ‘infer’ when we mean ‘imply’?

Bad enough I don’t get a ride any more.

Full lockdown till February and possibly beyond

Argyll has hardly been touched by it since March
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That's not the case. Areas around Helesburgh, part of Argyll and Bute, have had very high figures.

Our local hall, which is run by the council, was planned to be the main place to give vaccinations.

A&B Council want to charge the NHS so much it's made it too expensive so there's no main vaccination centre for Argyll.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Corran Hall is not run by the Council but by a leisure-based charitable trust. That said however, do you have a source for saying that 'they want to charge so much it's made it too expensive for the N.H.S.' ?

I’d rather he did than leave it until Wednesday which was the plan.

I expect he’ll shut all schools until the 18th and review from there. All of England to go into Tier 4 but construction and manufacturing allowed to continue. I’m still confused what message there is for construction in Scotland tbh.

Just my guess.

Aye but whatever plan is announced it won't really change anything. There's no end to this, lockdown or not.

Today's 'cases by neighbourhood' has Helensburgh North in the highest category, and Helensburgh West and Rhu in the second highest category. But if it's been over a fortnight since you were there for a pint you're probably ok. 👍

----------------------------------------------------------------------

I’m far from convinced that vaccines will eradicate this virus, far less any new strains or variants it mutates into. In fact I’ll go as far to say as they won’t.

To some degree we will have to live with this and as a result there will be no end to it.
