The manager reverted to his old ways off the park. He’s looked a mess since we won the title last season and he’s lost all motivation by the looks of it. I’ve never seen him so lethargic looking.

We were 2-0 against rangers and he sat in the dugout no giving a fluck

It’s been an almighty fluck up this season, 10 is gone so it’s important we regroup and ensure we win the title next season as that’s likely to mean straight into the CL group stages the following season as well.

the strange thing is and as some on recent threads have said Lawell did very well for celtic (and himself ofc) he implemented a successful model of signing mid price talent with potential and selling on for huge profit.

Thats obviously a model Rangers are planning to follow.

The problem is that in that model you need to find replacements at the same price you paid for those assets not the price you recouped. Celtic had been doing that.

Somewhere along the line though (maybe about 3 seasons ago) the recruitment has changed. The money has absolutely been provided but what has been brought in has been disastrous.

Did something massively change in recruitment/scouting?

John Park has been a massive loss outside of the striking department.

We also stopped scouting English league 1 and 2 where there are bargain buys to be had and opted for foreign transfers that by and large have turned out to be disasters.

The guy rangers got from Southampton, is it Wilson? He’s highly regarded in his role whereas we have Lawwell doing that job as well as being CEO

Can't help yourselves, putting your foot in the schit again. Class but to be expected now, you're a basketcase club.

Like everything else when you change staff for the same money and hope for a return on investment you run the risk of them not being as good, not becoming the reality from the prospect and it runs right through the business including the role of recruitment.

Coupled with what seems like never ending success there can often be an arrogance in the belief you can do no wrong.

Lawwell’s statement, amazingly has made things worse. How is that even possible?

Nobody is knocking the past achievements everyone appreciates the success and we’re surprised about how long it lasted

The gripe is how can we fall so far in such a short space of time
