If you judge a 5 year signing on 5 months, I guess you could argue that,

Yeah I will thanks. The guy had a serious knee injury as a teenager and it would seem he has chronic injury issues now. If you think £42m on a guy who has barely been available is great business then up to you. I'd argue the money could have been spent better.
