If I understand the insurance business it will be the underwriters that take the hit not the companies though they probably faced action from them had they caved at the first claim. Time was Lloyds names jumped off buildings rather than go home to the wife.

It’s the natural world.virus mutates, not intentionally to kill because that fckd the virus but to improve the spread and by spreading more it must reduce its infectiousness. Just the way it is.

In fairness to all governments this has been pretty much a learn as you go scenario, also now 2 new variants, so far; there really is no easy answer in all of this.

It’s the natural world.virus mutates, not intentionally to kill because that fckd the virus but to improve the spread and by spreading more it must reduce its infectiousness. Just the way it is.

Maybe the planet is trying to use Covid to get rid of the most dangerous virus...
