Supreme Court rules Insurance companies have to actually pay out for things they said they's pay out for - to the tune of £1.8Bn.

Superb.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Yeah. Read that earlier.

Another bunch of bastirts feeding off other peoples misfortune.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Small businesses hung out to dry by these shysters, ruining many lives with their sleekitness.

I would jail the coonts
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes though in mitigation they are only looking out for their shareholder’s business as is the responsibility of exec directors. If I understand the insurance business it will be the underwriters that take the hit not the companies though they probably faced action from them had they caved at the first claim. Time was Lloyds names jumped off buildings rather than go home to the wife.

Every country has made mistakes. Bojo and chums have made far too many and showed bad judgement. Would I have got everything right? No of course not but I got a great deal more right than the U Turn Bojo incompetents. Going forward, the vaccine seems the only way out if this.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

If you did it was nothing more than a stab in the dark.

You don’t have to sit and take in all the information from so many different parties with vested interests and make a decision for 67m people.

Easy isn’t it?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No stab in the dark at all. It’s based on life experiences and common sense. I was in a similar situation to Marcus Rashford as a youngster so had the real life experience of what is needed. Bojo is out of touch with this. The face coverings are just a no brainer common sense way to prevent spread of germs. Delaying lockdowns was signposted by Italy and ignored by Bojo. So no stabs in the dark. Over to you....
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Zero evidence on mask wearing.

Italy is a disaster zone still.

Stabs in the dark.

I loathe Insurance companies.
The Rainmaker is a great movie that highlights just how fvcking evil the coonts are.

Yep.

And medics are backing even harsher lockdowns. And other medics including WHO are saying they don’t work at this extent.

You used Italy as a good example and now acknowledge it’s in a bad place. France is a mess. Germany has the same daily death rates as us.

They’ve all changed course on a number of occasions over the months; which you want to criticise us for.

Yet here you are saying through your experience you’d make a better job than all the advisers and government ministers put together without having the opportunity to know what their discussions are.

And you also have taken into account the cost of your intended actions I suppose. You know; get that balance right.

Aye ok.

£12bn+ on a world beating track and trace system ffs
No one can defend that. Let’s agree to disagree. I have worked with many many intelligent people who have conviction of their opinions but are found out to be wrong. No one is perfect but this lot of Boris are some of the most incompetent I have ever come across.

In fairness to all governments this has been pretty much a learn as you go scenario, also now 2 new variants, so far; there really is no easy answer in all of this.

The most worrying thing is if Covid keeps mutating.
Maybe the planet is trying to use Covid to get rid of the most dangerous virus...

I'm not having the new variants scare.
All viruses mutate. The new variant is a convenient excuse to either lock us down for longer or cover for their fook ups to date
----------------------------------------------------------------------

The former.

Gives all the “experts” every excuse they need to put up further restrictions to “save lives”.

It’s the natural world.virus mutates, not intentionally to kill because that fckd the virus but to improve the spread and by spreading more it must reduce its infectiousness. Just the way it is.
