If you think SG and Eddie Howe are similar characters then I see your point.
SG spent his entire playing career in a divided city under pressure to win trophies domestically and in Europe. He captained a Liverpool team to CL success.
He is a globally recognised superstar who can’t walk ten yards without someone stopping him for a photo or an autograph.
Eddie Howe played for Bournemouth and has managed Bournemouth. I guess he did leave to manage Burnley for a bit but didn’t last a year.
But apart from that the similarities between SG and EH are obvious 😳
I think both are completely their own person, and won’t be getting influenced by the actions of the current person in charge, is what I mean.
I don’t think EH will watch an interview by Neil Lennon and think he would end up like that, in the same way I don’t think SG would have watched Murty do a hand stand during a game and think he’ll end up like that.
