McGregor I’m sure said something like the Morelos incident wasn’t a stamp. Not sure standing on someone is a red.
Morelos is an idiot though so obviously we presume it’s deliberate. McGregor gets benefit of doubt, but very difficult to judge intentions impartially.
Morelos = bad
Anyone Scottish = not that type of player

When you are off balance and trying to find your footing, no matter what is under it, your foot is getting planted.
If Morelos plants his foot, Porteous gets a proper sore one but it’s then obvious it’s unintentional
That’s not what happens, he puts enough pressure down on Porteous leg so that he feels it, then lifts his foot and falls over....clear as day for me that he meant it.
As for the point he was trying to trap the ball and control it.....naw, jist naw

But when youre winning things go for you. Thats at least 2 games i can remember that Morelos should have been off. On a year theyre winning, they seem to be getting away with it..

It looks much worse close up than it did at first glance. I thought there was nothing in it until the replay as did the ref and McGregor who was even closer.
On the basis of the replay/slow-mo it does look like a red. I think he's standing on him anyway but he does seem to add a little bit of force when he didn't have to so on that basis he will get a retro ban.
It's not like the ref gave us a goal and a point in the process v Hibs..
It will be refreshing to see us play with strikers than can control the ball and both need more minutes anyway and the games to come are against teams we should beat without him.

In general, I think Morelos is a d*ck. I would have taken the £16m offered in the summer (and said so on here at the time) , and would have taken £13m + had we been offered it earlier in this Jan.window.
Generally he is a lazy, sullen, overweight d*ck who has occasional good goal-scoring spells, and frequent spells when he's misses everything. From a disciplinary angle he is a liability. We've got Roofe now, and Itten, and could buy a really decent replacement for a half of the money Morelos would raise. Too late to organise a replacement now so he's here until June, then he must go
I really wanted us to get shot of him last summer as I thought he was a bad influence. He is not our saviour, there are gems out there which our scouts will unearth. Rangers will easily survive Morelos' departure. I suspect Roofe would come out of Morelos' shadow and be our main man but that's just my opinion
