I disagree. I was on the bus after the Treble Treble final when we heard that Lennon had got the job permanently. Every single person was disappointed.

True. Only thing I’d counter with is that the window’s been open for 31 days. Jullien is fecked, Ajer’s wanting away, Duffy & Bitton are p@sh ... so you might have thought we’d have been prioritising a CB before the last 24 hours of the window. As ever though, that would involve a bit of foresight.

Totally agree Welsh should be starting ahead of Duffy. Amazed we haven’t tried to terminate that loan deal, altho that’s maybe not an option. Certainly no other team’s going to want him.
