I don't know mate, the story says the tattoo artist might have been part of his bubble, if so there is no issue

I would assume if he played tonight, there is no issue...cannie see them playing him if there was any dubiety....even so, if he mixed at training and with the squad there could still be consequences

Speaking to BT Sport Rangers manager Steven Gerrard said:

"I'm waiting on my heart rate to come down. From a manager's point of view there's a lot to analyse. Defensively we weren't at our best. But it's very difficult to win away from home in Europe. The experience of Scottish teams in Europe tells me that so I've got to give credit to the boys."

"We said to them at half-time not to panic. Even if the game stayed at 2-1 we still had the away goal. Ryan [Kent] when he came on gave us a lot. It's a crazy game to analyse right now but I've got to credit the player's character."

"I thought we didn't play the first half at full throttle. I thought we had opportunities to hurt this team but we weren't taking them."

On Alfredo Morelos:

"Really pleased with his performance I thought he improved as the game went on. I think he did everything tonight except get on the scoresheet."

Just beat the Ukrainian teams (Shaktar might be a push) and you've guaranteed automatic qualification to the CL for Celtic in a couple season's time.

Keep it up lads, we're rooting for you 😂

Bubbles to me seem to be some made up idea to make people feel safe but serve little purpose in this instance.

The boys can train together. They can live with their partners but the moment they all come together it's now burst? Sorry but I just don't buy that.

The CL in its current format won't exist soon - that is my gut feeling.

I just cannie agree lads

If Bassey, Patterson and Zungu waltzed into training on Monday morning, and mixed with the squad, tonight's game might not have been played, or could even have been forfeited...all coz they couldny sit in the fcking hoose

I've got fck all sympathy for them....get them to fck out the club at the earliest opportunity, can peruse their dreams elsewhere, don't have to do it with us
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Why would any of that happen?

None of them have tested positive.

They were there with their girlfriends so people they would have been in contact with anyway.

I agree they have been stupid and should be punished accordingly but there is a ridiculous level of hysteria going on

Rules are rules mate
Not meant to be mixing in other people's houses...no matter if you are a footballer or not

The special arrangements made for footballers don't extend to going round to each others house on a Saturday night for a chinwag and a curry...no matter how harmless people think it may be

Precedent was also set with Jones and Edmundson already

Wish folk would stop defending this crap...it was a clear break of the COVID rules

Folk haven't been able to see their family for months...families haven't been able to all gather toourn a family member due to funeral numbers....yet folk are trying to say it's ok footballers to ignore all this and have a wee party and a curry...it's all innocent stuff...pure over the top slating them

I wish I lived like a monk.

Do you pat yer shants when you go for your weekly shop at Tesco?

You are probably more at risk of catching the dreaded bad cough there as you are when mixing with 'clean' mates.

Give yourself a shake FFS.

Not defending it.

Saying they have broken rules and should be punished accordingly.

They have been fined by the club and authorities.

They will be banned for some games by the SFA.

Gerrard may well see it as a breach of trust that's unrecoverable but if he doesn't, that's fine too

I'd have sympathy for them had they not mixed with guys outosde their team bubble thing.. but potentially exposing themselves is silly given they probably have no ide where their pals have been or what they've been up to.

Just kids being shortsighted and foolish. A big slap on the wrists (few weeks fine, training with reserves etc) should be enough of a punishment.

It's the optics that make it worse.. with the rest of the country in lockdown etc, and the view that footballers are (which they are) spoilt.. and abusing their positions.

Let's be honest.. we've all broken the lockdown in one way or another at least once.

Started that comment with "I'd be sympathetic.. "

And pretty much filled the entire comment with sympathy toward them 😂

They were all team mates.

As for breaking lockdown - I do it every weekend if I can.

Load of old bunkum which has unbelievably got people wetting their y-fronts and calling people 'Granny Killers'.

I'm just saying the bubble doesn't exist at all in my opinion. Unless we're locked down the bubble is make believe. They broke rules yes and should be punished. And they will be.

I'm sure every player is an expert beard groomer or Mrs a hairdresser. Nobody has a barber mate etc going by how many unkempt beards in football these days

It doesn't exist - load of Tam Kite.

People are people (unless you are Stevie) and you will find a way to make things happen.

I will also say - 'Protect the NHS' - most of the ones I know who are either 5-O, NHS, Fire Brigade, etc are some of the worst!

No need to sack them or make an example of them

But come the summer.... fck off, go and find yourself another club, your bridges here are burned, all for the sake of a wee get thegether

Club is bigger than any player
Would be saying the same if it was Barasic, Tav, McGregor...any of them

Fck them

I think it’ll provide an easy excuse to get rid of dead wood but hopefully be the biggest lesson to any that get to stay
