Imagine they gave it to John Kennedy....in the showers.....after 2nd place was secured
We are light years ahead of where McInnes could have taken us.
Gerrard has been a revelation in so many areas of our club, especially youth development and man management.

Gerrard has set the tone and elevated the standards in a massive way behind the scenes.
The club has pretty much supported him in everything he has wanted to change.
The only thing they resisted at Ibrox was ripping the dressing rooms out and completely modernising them. They got him to agree to a tarting up of them to retain the majority of the traditional look.
On the pitch we are on the brink of a special season.
Meanwhile McInnes is setting records at Aberdeen for consecutive games without scoring a goal 😂😩😩

I never thought it would be McInnes TBH

Rangers offered him the job.
More than a few on here wanted him to take it.
Hopefully John Kennedy gets the Celtic gig full-time after today's stunning 1-0 win against Eberdeen via a deflected goal...

You keep saying you've no interest in any other Club than Rangers.
If ye're waiting for me to log off Pedro that might be a while mate.

Thankfully it never happened. Would be horrible to have a manager incapable of beating Celtic h2h

I don't recall that many on here wanting McInnes as manager as most sane folk know that he is very limited.
Interesting how the story changes to that of 'More than a few on here wanted him to take it' though.
Just didn't happen.

I think most at the time were in acceptance that he'd become the manager though very much an uninspired choice
Given where Rangers were at the time anything was potentially an improvement
But he decided not to come and that was the best outcome as history has proven
So a split in the fans of uninspiring acceptance and those who didn't want him
He would have been an improvement at the time his spending power at
Ibrox would have been greatly increased. Neither of the OF looked
forward to a trip up there not it's 3 points all the time. He's lost his mojo
& his club is skint. Any player who looks good gets sold.
