Not true though, is it?

The demise of Leeds United was, and is, held up as an example of how not to run a football club.

Tell me any fan base who don’t demand best possible players for their club? We don’t manage the finance.

I don't think many of the clubs involved fans knew anything about what was going on, the same as the players, managers or coaches!..

This had nothing to do with what teams are doing now in the premiership, or any other league, this is to do with people at the helm wanting more and having guarantees in place giving them the devine right to have everything they demand stuffed up their asses!..

The fans did their bit by coming together as one and stopping it going to far, so they should be credited for their voices letting the pigs in suits know not everything in life can be bought!..

Its now up to the fans to stand together and make sure it never happens again!..

And upto the football authorities to get their act together!..

And how much debt do Man U have. Wasn't it £511 million at last accounts.

No you don't manage the finances, but you will accept owners that are rinsing your club financially.

Interesting that it's only Man U fans replying. Obviously you believe that the ESL was a good idea.

I think it was a terrible idea. Your article is still laughable.

The fans of these clubs only became vocal when they saw their clubs at risk of losing Premier League status.

Was that after you heard about possible sanctions.

Nope, as soon as I heard it was happening.

I'm sure people from those clubs were objecting to it before it went as far as it did!..

Wrong, we’ve been protesting against the Glazer for 10+ years now.
The debt of Man United was actually the owner put on us when he borrowed money to buy United, should never been allowed to do that in the first place.

It's the fans' fault for wanting their team to be successful?

Fans never moan about greedy agents?

Fans of the 6 didn't care until the clubs were threatened with sanctions?

Load of ballacks.

Because some of you are true fans and still wear the green and gold scarves. The majority don't know what the heck it is all about.

You can keep making things up in your own head if it makes you feel better. I’ll keep laughing at you.

Which is what I said to start with. because you didn't give a damn before.

There was a protest. Not a huge one, granted, but we're out of it already.

Personally I don't want the owners out. Levy yes, for his role in the ESL and subsequent statement. But ENIC have been pretty decent to be fair. Sure they haven't pumped a load of money in but football money is reinvested and we're run sustainably with wages etc. If it weren't for Covid we'd be smashing it right now.
