Plenty of clubs have to make do with spending within their means on bargain basement signings or talented scouting of young prospects. None of these clubs decided to form a breakaway league to make their own rules are there's nothing special about Real Madrid. Perez needs to s*** it up.

In the long run, what he tried would even have been damaging for the club itself. Creating a Superleague away from UEFA would mean burying the competition that the club's legend is built upon. A competition that's etched into the club's DNA and that it spent 32 years trying to reconquer.

The sooner he facks off the better.
