I'm really not convinced by Remys ability to play for us tbh, he scores goals but only when he's playing regularly and right now for whatever reason neither Mourinho nor Hiddink rate/trust him to lead the line, there must be a reason for that.

Quality player but I think he needs to be playing all the time to show that and he's never going to have that for us, and he's not really offering us an option atm either, like I say one he's not rated by managers and two when they have given him a chance this season he's been beyond a joke, Arsenal game summed up his chances, could have had two or three in the time he was on and messed every sigle one up, despite being in acres of space

If we go into Feb with Costa, RVP, Pato, Falcao I think we've improved our options in the short term. If we keep Remy and Pato is in a fight for 2nd choice that again is an improvement on no competition

Either way really Pato is a signing that probably doesn't matter so much, a meh signing that if its doesn't do anything so what, if it does, kudos for giving him a chance

Remy seems to be the king of the consolation goal for Chelsea, coming on and scoring when you've already lost the game

Silva was 25, Pato 26 not too much difference and attitude wise he probably fits in with most of our squad

Like I say I'm far from convinced but I can see why the club has done it and there's no real harm in trying

Tbh all I'm bothered about in this transfer window is we don't go and waste money on an average player to replace Ramires and then sell them off in a year or two - best chance to give RLC a few more games and hopefully as we aren't being linked to replacements that what's going to happen.

May as well try do something with one youngster seeing as we've completely passed the stage where a number of them could come through, no point putting them into a team with no spine, they'd probably end up the same as all the big Arsenal talents everyone was raved about, but part players replaced by lavish signings like Cech, Ozil, Sanchez and co!
