mmm let me guess lol
think defensively I am better, more experienced
having Iturraspe instead of Eriksen allows Pogba/Vidal more freedom
also kept getting told RVP was past his best
Think there's a good number of dms out there better than Iturraspe, otherwise would say it looks stronger, that and RVP > Benzema.
yeah but would lose out elsewhere,
and the likes of Busquets, Khedira etc i wont get without losing big time
also, fingers crossed carvalho has a great WC lol
think Kalas move is good option tbh, he did well in his two games, but it was just two games, with Cahill and Terry doing so well he won't break into that side, plus Omeruo needs experience with us now like Kalas has had. Think its a good long term move tbh, Kalas will play week in week out in a top league, Omeruo will get game time with us
he'll also learn how to deal with pressure
better to do it with a relegation threatened side who will have to defend most of the time, you spend a lot of time defending
That is true
As long as we don't go out and buy a new CB I don't see a problem, Luiz has gone, he's replaced by Zouma, Terry is getting on. Best Kalas has as much experience as possible before taking over. Don't think we can afford to play without Terry right now either, bar Cech and Ivan there is no other experienced player in the side we can rely on, and neither of those two are players who can lead the team through difficulty imo, it's not worth dropping points to play Kalas more often when he can get the same benefits on loan
Kalas will just be another Chelsea youngster forever going out on loan then deemed not good enough and replacements being bought, If he was good enough they wouldnt have signed Zouma
I disagree with everything you just said. For one I'm not sure you can name a youngster good enough that we've bought someone to play over him instead. Secondly, had we not bought Zouma in Jan we would have once we had sold Luiz, I imagine Mourinho has been planning most of his transfers in the long run, as shown with him saying in January that we will see why he didn't buy a striker in that window, well now we can see why.
i've never seen someone defending their team as fierce as lstd
who cares, world cup in 21 hours
Kalas is 21, Zouma 19, if Kalas is good enough surely he should be ahead of Zouma, this will be his 3rd season ool, chelsea will never have confidence in there youth products imo
I just think people criticising the way we deal with our young players are oblivious to the fact that they are basing this one how we handled players like Sinclair and Di Santo, who are crap. And the fact that bar Liverpool everyone else is the exact same, for example Arsenal have the best young striker in England in Akpom, still goes out on lots of loans, still buy Yaya Sanogo to push him down the pecking order. United sent Cleverley and Welbeck out, sorry if Chelsea aren't willing to have incredibly average players in their starting line up.
Wilshere, top English youngster supposedly, they bought Ozil to play his position, they bough Cazorla to play number 10 too.
The only reason Sterling and Flanaghan have been given a chance at Liverpool is because there was so little expectation on the team at the start of the season that they have less pressure to perform straight away. Sterling took his fair share of time to start really looking like a player.
Juventus have loads of top quality youngsters, where are they all? Instead they buy Pogba.
Barca have two of the best youngsters in world football in Deulofeu and Rafinha, not got a chance yet.
So I am going to defend Chelsea, when people seem to think we do anything differently to others.
cant wait till the world cup
cant watch every game but will watch all the games i can including the 2am ivory coast vs japan game
really have no game in particular that i want to watch, will just watch when am allowed...
obvs want to see England lose all 3 games tho
Courtois is coming back Fan, Omeuro is coming back, Chalobah is coming back, Lukaku was wanted back he chose to go back out on loan
Bertrand had 6-7 loans and then came back and started a CL final, continued to be an important player last season, unfortunately for him struggled so much with injuries early this season that he. Found himself as third choice LB.
The only evidence you have of us not trusting youngsters is Sinclair, Bruma, Di Santo. Bruma has done okay, the others are rubbish. We made the right choices don't see how we can argue.
Don't think anyone is saying Zouma is better either. Just that we have Terry, Cahill, Ivanovic as three CBs, what benefit will Kalas now get as 4th, starting in the Bundesliga is clearly a better option
