Scholes > Pirlo

Close again but no, Pirlo's international influence puts him ahead

Xavi > Pirlo

Very very close, I'd probably just agree there
Xavi, Pirlo, Scholes 3 best CM's in my lifetime for me

Wasn't really a CM, more of a no10
Depends if we are counting Zidane and Iniesta, they'd have to be in there imo

I'm not I'm classing them as AM's
Fair enough
Where are you counting Seedorf?
If were talking strictly CMs I'd have Gerrard in there..Liverpool bias
Scholes > Lampard > Gerrard
Tbh I think I'd have Gerrard
Seedorf, Nedved and Gerrard as the next 3
This is why Blatter was against goalline technology.
Who needs Benzema when you can have the keeper
Imo Scholes wasn't massively if at all ahead of those 3, I'd probably have all 6 together
Scholes was way more technically advanced than Lampard and Gerrard who suited the English game more, Scholes was a more European style player, probably unfortunate for him that he wasn't born in Madrid, he's the best passer of the ball I've seen
Love goal line technology, def needed, easily could have been chalked off
