For me, it's either buy a true defensive midfielder that allows him to play like he does for France (in the double pivot) or sell him.
We won't be playing 4-3-3 like Juve did with Bruno in the side, so I think that's the only 2 options.
Giggs was never that good with his head during his playing days as I remember
Overated. Earns so much so wont be dropped. Best to sell him

He won’t be sold, I think he’ll sign a new contract, so we’ll have to look at ways of fitting him in best.

I'd like to see Ndidi or someone similar. I like McT in terms of his attitude, effort and leadership. I'm just not convinced that he will ever be more than a squad player.
Another important issues going into next season is Rashford. He is talking today about how he is been playing with injuries all season.
Does Southgate have the balls to drop him. A proper rest will benefit the young man
Only 12 months left on his deal? Has to be sold if no new deal is done surely.
That's before you get to deciding if he is worth keeping. I'm not sure he is. After so long there is still a debate that shows you he's not done enough and hasn't ever looked like doing so consistently.

He’ll go to the Euros, but I don’t think he’ll start.
Pogba’s a difficult one. He’s problematic due to not fitting the best with how our midfield is set up. But he will be a lot harder to replace than people say.
We already need a cm, we’ll need two if we sell Pogba. Not sure this club is capable of getting two central midfielders of the required quality in one window, we haven’t managed that in one decade.

I've been saying this all season. The lad needs a sustained rest to get over his injuries. I really wish he wasn't going to the Euros. If he does go then Southgate would be best to try and use him sparingly early on and maybe use him off the bench. But really he just needs a good long rest.
As Ole seems insistent on playing 4231 it may well be easier getting two solid CMs than the top class CM we'd need to play Pogba in the two. Neves and Bissouma could be a decent pairing based on what we've been linked with and probably wouldn't cost much more than the fee we'd get for Pogba (if reports of their value are to be believed). Maybe the players aren't as talented as Pogba but would offer more balance. Add Sancho in front and maybe a top class CB and it'd be much better IMO.

Why dont players ask to be excused if carrying injuries. If i was a footballer and i knew i wasnt at optimal levels. I will stand down. Bruno is another one we have run ragged. He would also go to the euros and back to start of a season. Over 100 games without a proper rest in 2 seasons. Scary
Daft question really.
Don't need to do anything but play him (in his best position) because he is the teams MVP.
Mind you, the way the club's being run that might well mean he'll just be given away.
I feel so bad for Rashford. He’s really not been dealt the best hand the last year. He was playing so class before he got that back injury. He looked set to really light up the Euros. He’s just not been the same since - despite showing glimpses of his brilliance - and I think it’s potentially cost him a trophy, and a starting place for England at the Euros.
We keep wasting money of midfielders that don't fit the system, past few seasons bought. Pogba, Fred, VDB, Matic and more, its just fitting square pegs in round holes. Does the club even look at what we need that would fit into the style manager is trying to play (if he knew himself it would help, that includes Ole, Jose and LVG) looks like they just see what's in the market and buy with no understanding of where they'd fit in the system.

I'm in two minds about what would be best for him.
A rest by not going to the Euros would be good however, as this is as close as possible to a home tournament for England, perhaps being part of that group will do him good too. A few good cameos may get him ready for next season.

I agree completely, Ndidi would be a perfect signing for us. We should be looking at these types of players Before they sign for clubs that will charge us £50m+ for them
I think he should go. He’s obviously not in the best condition, but things are different with England. He could potentially be devastating as an impact player in this tournament.
5 years on and we still have fans defending him. He's been a shocking signing for what we paid. It's all well and good having the talent he has but he doesn't use it anywhere near enough.
He was outworked and out played by Mctomminay the other night. Says it all.
On another note, how much do you reckon we’ll get back on DVdB ?
Don’t see the point keeping him if he’s not in Ole’s plans

After much thought, up to ten minutesworth while having a drink
this is probably more thought than the club will put into this question, so i applaud you for this.
Southgate’s got some really good options for the wide positions this tournament. Grealish, Foden, Sancho, Greenwood, Saka and Sterling can all stake a claim to get on the pitch at some point.
The problem is, apart from Sterling, Rashford is the senior forward in the squad among those players. He has more appearances and goals for England than all of them combined. And Kane, Rashford and Sterling has been our best front three.
So there’s a small chance Southgate might want him to start for these reasons.
