DCL is a beast of a player. Especially in the air. Not sure blue scouse would be keen to let him go without a serious wedge. He is Everton atm.

Thing is with DCL is he a 40/50 m player or an 80+ m player? Its not obvious. He couldnt just slot in to any team...you would have to build to compiment him. Good wide forwards on both sides who cross well. Which we dont have. Yet.

DCL isn’t very good. He’d be crap transfer for us.

I have a strong feeling we will end the summer feeling let down.

Chelsea making big moves, City making big moves, Liverooo back to full strength.

Unless we sign 2 or 3 immediate first 11 players who are obvious improvements I see us in a top 4 battle at best next season.

Lots of rumours about Chelsea being in for Haaland, that’d be a travesty.

I think we are in for a top 4 battle whoever we sign.

City will be as strong. Chelsea will be better under Tuchel. Liverpool will be better with VVD back and Kounde signed.

Even the people who make these decisions won't know who they are interested in until 30th August, so plenty of time yet

Would put money on Ole to finish ahead of Chelsea even if he brought no one.

winning cups is one thing, but they are poor in the league.

Yeah, of course we'll know more after the window but I fully expect a clusterfick, as per. You'd expect Liverpool and Chelsea both to be a lot stronger, so 4th would appear most likely at this stage.

Yeah pretty much. The cups will play a part as well, I’d have thought. Especially for us if we go far in the Europa League again.
