Positives for me were Cutrone, Ait Noui, Semado, Neves, Otasowi, Jimenez & Gibbs White.

Ait Nouri probably the pick. Jimenez looks class still. Neves looked good, Semedo improved us over Hoever. Silva looks lively, have a good feeling about him this coming season, hard not to love his attitude and he clearly wants it, bulked up quite a bit as well.

Mosquera likes to get stuck in but that won't be any good with prem refs

After getting promoted last season, Grasshoppers of Zurich played their first game back in the top flight today.
Wolves loanees Campana, Toti Gomes and recently signed Bella were all in the team as was Christian Herc who we recently sold to them plus a name from the past Georg Magreitter played centre back
Campana opened the scoring, unfortunately with an own goal, and Basle beat them 2-0

Just ordered tickets for the game at Stoke next weekend, surprisingly not sold out yet, we've only got 2000, but several hundred still available.

Guess people will make a choice between going there or Coventry the next day. Can’t imagine many will go to both

Worrying that Boly has picked up a knock though and talk is of it being a hamstring problem which will be a concern because he was struggling on and off with the same injury since about November last season

All summer Neves has been linked with a move to Arsenal as a replacement for Xhaka who is wanted by Roma. But talk now is that Roma can’t meet Arsenal’s asking price so Xhaka may stay at Arsenal. Which would likely mean the Neves deal wouldn’t happen

That’s good then, like to see how Bruno uses Neves, but we need extra there as we know, Bruno has high regard for Moutinho who is featuring

I want to see how Neves does with a more positive coach and system.

I'd like to see Moutinho stay and I think he I can still be quality, but given his age I don't think he should be a starter every week. I'd much prefer us to use his experience when required, rather than rely on him every week.

Anyone with high regard for Moutinho is ok in my books. Moutinho is the most complete professional footballer in the squad. He may have lost half a yard of pace but he has lost nothing of his tactical ability and skill. It will be a sad day when we finally lose him (IMO)

I was all for replacing Moutinho because I thought he was less effective for much of last season. But to be fair to him our long 2019/20 season coupled with hardly any break last summer probably hit him more than anyone last season now he’s well into his 30s. Now he’s had a break and a proper pre season maybe he will be back to something like his best next season

Wolves were due to fly back to the uk tomorrow but as the training camp has gone so well they are evidently staying there until later in the week. And Coady and Traore might be asked to fly out to join them for a few days
