So no trophies would be failure (comment on another article), he needs 6 new players to win a title in your opinion (article you recently made), but now he's got 2 new players he must repay the owners (todays article), but you don't mean repaying them by winning a title because you didn't mention it in the OP?

What i meant was the backing from the club deserves a strong campaign where we make progress (get more points than last season) and maybe win a trophy.

What's wrong with that?

I'm getting some serious deja vu.

I would say he only needs to repay them a third, seeing as they've only backed him for a third of the players he needs to win trophies/titles.

Obviously nobody ould be unhappy in the unlikely event we won a title with less points.

Would I be happy with 4th with more points than this season? No. I don't think with our squad as it is, and the manager having had 2.5 years, there shouldn't be 3 teams better than us.

Maybe he asked for a midfielder too and could've even made that the most important transfer?

What a stupid take. No manager in world football gets everything they want… this on itself is what makes a manager elite! To use the squad at their disposal and make something special happen. Any manager in world football would love to have the summer Ole has had

I'd be very happy if we won the title with the lowest points total ever to do that. I imagine that would be very exciting season as well with teams all taking points off each other, rather than the formula 1 style procession we're having to get used to.
