Arab

This kind of $hit suggests we are not that badly run compared to the Spanish Giants. And we have the Glazers and Ed.

Who would have thought.

Another scared midget mug going to PSG rather than sampling the hallowed turf of English football pitches.

How much did Barca pay for Griezman?

Not even Phil Jones wants to go to Barca. 😂

This doesn't really surprise me. It seems Barca were well aware this deal couldn't be done and Messi was arriving fully expecting that it would be. So basically it was meant to exert maximum pressure on La Liga when the announcement came, whilst leaving the player out of the loop. I'd guess Messi wouldn't be happy and nor would his mate be

Easy to see why Barca want a super league.

Yes, as terrible as the Glazers and Ed have been we should be grateful we haven’t dropped to Barca’s level where they can’t even afford to pay a footballers wage

Lesser of two evils Chinny

Rather Utd were free of the Glazers and free of debt but at least we are spending within our means, wage to revenue ratio within sensible levels compared to others.

We are not that worse off compared to others I guess.

Hypothetical question, are we better off because or inspite of the EPL financial bubble? What if it bursts then we will see the Barca scenario in England?

This Barca situation is basically the starting premise of every sports movie since The Mighty Ducks. Only they won't turn it anything like around in a season.

Don’t see how it bursts to that extent. The teams who spend big are well run or funded by billionaires.

The sides outside of the top 4 or 5 spenders, don’t spend wildly.

Barcelona’s loss of €487m in the biggest in football history, doubling the previous record by Manchester City back in 2010 (€228m).

I think I saw an article recently that a lot of the EPL clubs outside the top 3 are teetering on the brink i.e. wage to revenue is ridiculously high.

110% of Barcelona’s income will have to be used just to pay the wages at the club. It’s literally impossible to do it.

Never seen mismanagement of a major football club on this scale in my lifetime. Crazy scenes.

This is all on Barcelona, they’re paying their players way too much, hilarious amounts

They’re better off without Messi as my award winning article said yesterday. If he stayed they’re not winning the CL so what’s the point of going to the wall for a player whom they should have sold for £100 million last year 😹

Fairly and squarely though

Neither games were even close to being a contest.

Plus in 1992 I had a weird, inexplicable fascination with Sampdoria and Barca beat them. Adios Barca. Plus Las Ramblas is just one long road of people offering you cans of beer which is really an attempt to take you to an alley and sell you all the drugs.

Someone gave it 5 stars which for me is basically an Oscar

This is probably a stupid question but why not put the club up for sale? I’m pretty sure there will be a queue of oil barons wanting to buy them.
