If United want him, they can put in a bid for him.

There is no logic to what you are saying. The reason why the media are reporting on rumours of Ronaldo to City isn’t down to their intent to derail United’s season.

If it is, and indeed it does, then United must be incredibly fragile.

Why would that possibly derail your season?

Think of it the shirt sales, City would be mad not to buy him

If Ronaldo goes to City then you'll have Carragher, Neville, Scholes and Redknapp all single Ole out to blame for the fact United didn't get him. Neville already chirped up on Monday by trying to dig out Ole for not moving on Harry Kane. You'd think he knows how transfer work, considering Neville owns a football club!!

Trust me Ole will have already demanded to that board that Ronaldo is signed but they aren't interested in backing him properly.

You’re right. As opposed to those spendthrift managers like Moyes, LVG and Jose, the club have refused to to open the chequebook for Ole to use.
