Dan James and guile should never be used in the same sentence. Pace sure...that's about it.

Hey, that’s a £25m footballer you’re talking about, have some respect
Dan James just needs some proper coaching. I read an interview with him and he said that he lost his way and stopped doing the things he used to do, so he watched some videos of his early games and started running at people again. Sounded like he was given no coaching or direction on what he should be doing in games, just decided himself.
Bielsa and his staff will be telling him exactly what to do in games. Excited to see what he brings
He's now got one of the best coaches in the world behind him, not a glorified PE teacher, players like this who come from the lower leagues and only young, need nurturing and developing.
Man u are best just paying for seasoned, top class players to win them games. I mean, if you can pay someone 500k a week, why bother messing around with a kid from the Championship?
Bielsa will develop him
25m is too much however, crazy money.

And it doesn't make him a great coach of players, a few good results. How many times has he been on the brink of a sacking

Give them equal resources and Bielsa would beat him every single time. You’ve got players who can’t even make your bench that would start for Leeds.
Bielsa takes two Champ players in Philips and Bamford and 3 seasons later they are playing for England. Has Solkjaer improved many players at Man Utd? Seems from the outside that he’s got some good performances from Luke Shaw and McTominay but the rest have just continued at current level or regressed? Serious question

Often the difference between a good coach and a great one comes down to nothing more than being in the right place at the right time, if you were to swap Solskjær and Arteta over in their jobs the latter would be near to being top of the league and the former would be floundering. Neither of these coaches are standout in their job and neither could coach anywhere near the standard we are getting.
Solskjær isn't a coach, he's an ex-footballer who lucked out, Bielsa on the other hand, an average footballer who was born to coach, watch James flourish in this regime.
James started at ManU as a very good prospect, Bielsa took Leeds on with a load of 3rd div Champioship players!..
If he had any off the so called 6 top off the Premier, it could be asked where they would be now!..
But then it could be argued a lot off those players wouldn't make it with Bielsa, because most put money before club!..
You only have to look at players he's coached and hear what they say to know what he is, but than you could look at those in coaching and think how many from ManU will do the same and talk off the ManU coach the way his X-players do him!..
I'm sure Bielsa will find in Dan what he has in Phillips and Harrison and a lot more he put in place!..

Bielsa took over Leeds when they had been in the Championship for 9 years or so. They had ended mid-table the year before, so the guy has done great things in improving the team to the degree that he has.
But lets not pretend he has taken a bunch of 3rd div players through the leagues to the EPL.
What he has done is comparable to Nuno Santos at Wolves and the Villa manager. Indeed Brighton's manager has also achieved great things with a much smaller club.
You are getting ahead of yourself to state that Bielsa would do better than OSG if given the same backing because he has never really proved that through his long career. He seems to work a certain way which has proven to be very successful at a certain level, but that level is not the elite level which is where OSG is operating with a variable level of success.
Bielsa and Santos are similar in style of play and work ethic. Santos has gone to Spurs and will be more successful than his predecessors. I was amazed at the reaction to his appointment from a lot of spurs fans.
It's not like Bielsa hasn't had the chance to manage at 'Elite' club level. He just didn't want the jobs. Let's face it, man u fans would be drooling over the prospect of Bielsa coaching their team. (will never happen).
Dan James is not ripping anyone apart lol, these guys really just think it’s Fifa and cos he has pace ge can have defence on strings
Personally I don't care about any coaching comparisons between MB and OGS. Clearly James is a player that MB sees fitting well into his style - he'll have studied him - so that's all there is to it for me. Not sure all the egos in the OT dressing room would put up with a school PE teacher for long, he'd be gone by now if he was that limited. But it's all good bants.
Santos could be a great appointment for Spurs. Rated him at Wolves, but now with a bigger club and better resources, could be interesting to watch how he does.
Not sure MB would do better at OT, I just don't think it'd work. Different style and mentality - he'd not get everything his own way I suspect. He needs the right club - he's found it.
To reply to the OP yep, potentially a cracking prospect going forwards......

osg is a puppet ffs
The difference between the managers is that the expensive players make OGS look good, but Bielsa makes average players into good ones.
Money will always have the best chance of buying results - we only need to look at Man U, City, Chelsea and Liverpool for that (almost included Arsenal by accident there!)
Bielsa is the perfect fit for Leeds and conversely Leeds is the perfect club for Bielsa. What he does would not work at most money clubs. Too many egos there.
Really happy with the James signing
Young, PL experience at a big club, local…
He has awesome pace and we lack that
I’d really like to see Raphinha in the 10 as our playmaker. James on the right who will also presss
If we want to move up a level, we may need other options to supplement Dallas in that box to box role and Harrison on the left. I am a fan of them both but you need as much quality as possible and as much as both are very good players - it could be an area we should look to perhaps next season
Devonshirespur, the reason why I always say 3rd div Championship is because the team he took over was exactly that!..
As for people saying not being good enough for top clubs and him not having many trophies, that has more to do with how he is and how he works, he's happy working with and improving players, sure he'd like more trophies but bigger clubs wouldn't let him work the way he likes, maybe there's a reason why when your fans were saying they'd like him at your club, ManU, Liverpool and maybe a few others saying the same, it wasn't going to happen!..
Funny, but even Messi wanted Barca to get him!.

What's with that glorified PE teacher battering one of the best coaches in the world on numerous occasions?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He is though, you should be getting those kind of results against us with the way the two teams set up, we just won't park the bus like others.
And it doesn't make him a great coach of players, a few good results. How many times has he been on the brink of a sacking

With United? None that anyone's aware of.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
oh dear blinkers on yet again, yes you gave us a good beating but how did your other games go

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Bielsa took over Leeds when they had been in the Championship for 9 years or so.

They do say attack is the best form of defence.
Looks like another season of trying to outscore the opposition, which will at least make it entertaining you everyone <ok.
