then why don't you go to a football match at Old Trafford for the first time in your life and try and cause a riot?

Start at the derby next weekend.

People who blame the supporters for the team's performances are clueless
----------------------------------------------------------------------
WTF?

Nobody is blaming fans for the performances.

The OP is saying that the Barcelona fans demanded change and the owners responded by sacking the manager.

OTOH the Utd fans were happy enough, they even applauded Ole off the pitch and then waited for him to sign autographs.

Why should the Glazers change anything when as it seems the fans were happy with the 0-5 mauling by Liverpool.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What an absolute load of shīt.

You people seriously think the Glazers saw a few fans applauding at the end of the game and thought everything was fine? You think we don't have social media teams who are well aware of the mood of the fans right now?

The people applauding the manager weren't doing it because they think he should stay or whatever. They were doing it not to kick a man when he is down. If you don't like it, who cares?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And yet nothing has changed or is likely to change in the near future.

It's all good and well having social media teams being aware of the fan's mood but their job is to appease the fans and they are quite good at it.

Again, fan power stopped the ESL and have in the past got managers from various clubs sacked both here & abroad.

Utd fans are quite happy to protest the owners to try and get them to sell up, (never goint to happen) BUT aren't that invested in getting rid of Ole and the Glazers know it so aren't going to do anything as far as sacking him is concerned.

Barcelona fans demanded better by causing a riot after the Classico defeat.

United fans clapped Ole off and posed for autographs after your biggest humiliation in a long time.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
The fans that hadn’t left, perhaps. I was long gone.

I think Ole is woefully out of his depth and perhaps history will judge his complicit approval of the Glazers badly but I’m very much glad our fans (on the whole) aren’t as bad as the weirdly psychotic Madrid and Barca fans. My issues with Ole end the second he’s sacked. He’s a legend and I genuinely couldn’t believe any United supporter who grew up with Ole’s goals would ever wish him harm.

Well he's not going to come out and say he things the owners are tw@ts is he? SAF defended the owners too - probably for the good of the club. And to be fair, the owners have backed every manager that we have had since SAF. It's not like they haven't provided decent transfer funds for them. We've just spent poorly. So why would Ole or any of the other managers have anything against the owners?

That doesn't change the fact that the fans have more love for Ole than the owners.

There's middle ground between not slagging them off and taken selfies with them, claiming they've invested loads of money (when they've infact taken 2bn out of the club) and blaming a loss to your biggest rivals on fans protesting against them.

Come on man, you know that he meant that they have invested lots on money into the team. Which they have. He's not going to start discussing the owners business model is he? It would be suicide.

And he didn't blame the protest for the loss did he?

"Once we were in it was all focus on the game. But it is a different preparation coming in at noon for a quarter-past eight kickoff, it's a long time to be here but I thought the boys managed that well," he said.

"Of course, it disrupted us a little bit so it's not been ideal but we had to deal with it," he added.

Solskjaer said Liverpool had been good value for the three points.

"They deserved the win. We conceded goals in key moments of the game. We didn't build on the momentum or break up their momentum. We gave them at least two goals really. Then we scored again, had a massive chance... Key moments went against us," he said.

Semantics. What Ole meant is that the owners have provided money to sign players, which they have. He wasn't commenting on the business model and it is wrong to twist what he has said like that.

Of all the sticks to beat Ole with, saying that he's been complicit in the Glazer's bleeding money out of the club is one of the weirdest. I can't believe anyone sane is suggesting he should have taken a public stand against them.

It's all fairy stories again. Ole should have either walked or made a stand, and because he didn't he's in full agreement with what they do. Because he didn't walk, the supporters are at fault for letting him stay in the job as they didn't pressure the owners to sack someone who's fully behind their methods.

Who writes this stuff?

But Ole wasn't discussing the owner's business model. He was discussing transfers and made it clear that the owners have made money available for signings. Which they have. There was no need for a middle ground on a business model that he wasn't discussing.
