Back in the 90s when a player threw their shirt into the crowd you were competing with 17 stone bald men with glasses, a father of three, students.
You had to stand on the seat, get your elbows out, bite people, it was trench warfare! People got hurt!
If you’re not willing to trample over a 50 year old nurse from Bury to get a shirt, do you REALLY want it?

Hi Dunk, he saved West Ham from relegation first time round and the owners thought they could do better and realised their mistake and brought him back so please stop spinning the myth he did a poor job. He was brought in on a 6 month contract to do a job and he did it. He would have relegated them if it was a poor job.

I find this one more silly than annoying but goalkeepers who celebrate making a save, it’s your job, what next a midfielder celebrating making a successful pas to a teammate, or a striker celebrating scoring a goal even
Glory hunting fans from a far away place in the arse-end of nowhere who have no real attachment to a club other than the team was winning when they first got into football and it served to give them an ego boost/kudos/one-upmanship.
They are happy to laud it over everyone else when things are going well, yet when things take a turn for the worst (as they always do, this is part and parcel of sport), they feel personally insulted by the football club and its employees as if the club is there just to give them gratification.
F*cking horrible cants.

This applies to all levels of football. The number of players you come up against that give it massive all game, then meekly stand and offer their hand at full time, knowing they've got to go and stand in the pub with you all after the game.
