Can't expect the results to go with us every week. Think we need a points deduction for Reading to have any chance. Hull and Cardiff unfortunately have improved of late. Annoying that those two sets of whingers Rotherham and Wycombe look like coming straight back to the Championship and we will probably be going the opposite way.
Hull have won 4 on the bounce. How nice a run like that would be.
Just here to show some solidarity amongst football fans.
Always a had a bit of a soft spot for Derby myself, and it ain’t the Rooney connection. A sleeping, nay comatosed, big club. Or should be a big club.
My loyalty to my own club is sacrosanct. And i think 32 years as a ST holder at OT backs that up. However, my “match-going” support is for my local club, these days. Now I’m an old fart ex-pat.
I honestly would love to spend an afternoon with you guys on the terraces at “Pride Park” if, and only if, we all thought that at least the players were fighting.
Sod the results. It’s doomsday. But are you going down fighting? I’m just asklng. To the match-going fan, that is surely the only criteria?
Are the players, the manager, and the fans fighting for this club? Seems to me that the answer is ‘Yes’ to the second two.
Genuine question; do you feel like the players look like they’ve got skin in the game, or what?
Appreciate anyone who’s kind enough to bring me up to speed on that point.

"Yes," is the answer to all your questions from another ex-pat old fart who thanks you for your interest and support.
You (and Derby fans) may be interested in this: I watched a You Tube video made by four Bournemouth supporters covering their trip to, overnight, match-day experience and return from Pride Park. Most of it would only have appealed to Muff supporters but one of the four made some really telling comments after the game to the effect that they had visited several away grounds this season and found the home support pretty pathetic and expected the same at Derby. They were in fact overwhelmed by the magnificent support of the Derby fans especially given the terrible backlash from EFL. A glowing tribute. The guy also thought Lawrence was fantastic - real quality. Just one man's opinion but really interesting.
Hi. Thanks for the article Rameses. Just replying to Beeb's comments. I think its great when fans come together like this. Yes, we have our own loyalyies but football is to be enjoyed by all. I can remember at the end of last season saying I was sad that Sheff. W had been relegated - and one of there fans came back thanking me for my condolences. Sheffield have 2, what I would call "proper clubs" - not unlike Derby. No we're not as big as Man U but not many clubs are....so to comment on your bit Beeb....I think that Derby itself is a football town....but ATM....and equally Rooney has galvanised how we feel. As I said in my last article "Reasons to be cheerful" - Rooney has galvanised the Club, not just his loyalty - and let's face it, loyalty is a rare comodity in football....but I think I'm right in saying that everyone here thought at first that he was a bit of a Wide Boy. Boy, were we wrong. I think his character has truly brought together the whole area and the club - with a growing belief that we have something to fight for. Whether we achieve it remains to be seen...but I'm sure we will fight to the last game... Wayne demands it !!
If we lose tomorrow we will have earned 4 points from Bournemouth, Fulham and QPR. I thought we would struggle to get a single point going into those 3 fixtures. I just hope that fans don't get unrealistic expectations of what the team can achieve and still recognise that we are over-achieving significantly at the moment. I thought we would be relegated even without points deductions so I'm delighted with the fight we are showing, the way the youngsters are developing and way we are playing with no little quality on occasions. To keep the tiniest hope of survival alive we need to try to close the gap month by month. If we can get within eight or none points or so of survival by March then you never know. Coming into November it looked like it could be a month where we were cut completely adrift so just to maintain the gap seems like a very good achievement to me.
