When I've been in Holland every one I've spoken to speaks at least some English

If they don't they can 'never leave Holland

the guy who won the darts yesterday is dutch, speaks surprisingly poor english

not sure if he is being interviewed for our managerial position though

Beekers might finally become useful.

He may have done but isn’t going to say anything to the media about it. He’s got a hard enough time having to answer why we are so shiiiiit on the pitch, without having to speak about other coaches.

Ten Hag speaks English as well. Apparently he’s taking English lessons so he can get better and improve his communication because he’s such a detailed coach.

Yeh, if we do get Ten Hag then I think VDB will be a regular starter. It would probably be good news for Garner too.

I really hope Ralf stays on as well in some capacity.

I like his honesty and clarity. He'll also know exactly what players have done what during his time as manager at OT and can advise accordingly.

If all he does is clear the decks for the new man to make an easy transition then he's done a good job. It's clear he wants us to try a more progressive high-energy style but we just don't have the players for it at the moment. Hopefully 3/4 shrewd new additions will help with this and hopefully, with his connections, he can help us get them.

Some shrewd signings wouldn't go amiss.

Rudiger and Tarkowski on frees and sell Maguire for say £30m and Bailly and Jones for maybe a combined £10m isn't impossible. Would Tarkowski be much worse than this version of Maguire? I don't think he would be.

We could probably improve our team a lot without even having to spend that much. Such is how they are at present.

No ones gonna match whatever wage Maguire is on though surely?

We need more than three or four players.

If we can’t make more than three or four signings then we’ll be facked again next season. Half this squad needs facking off and replacing with fresh new faces that haven’t yet disgraced themselves or the shirt.

There’s plenty of players out of contract, at lower prem clubs and in the championship that would be a better fit than most of these cuuuuunts.

I don't disagree. Just someone who is willing to run and put a bit of effort in would be an improvement. We could really have done with Dan James yesterday. And, this is one of those occasions where I'm being serious about James!

I've got past the point where I'm angry now. It's more resignation which is much worse than anger. If I hear one more person tell me not to criticise the Glazers because 'They've given you loads to spend' I'll scream. Yes, they have provided funds but they've also allowed those funds to be spent by amateurs. It'd be like Ferrari spending millions developing a new car and then asking me to drive it.
