Sounded like a Kim Jong-un epitaph
Considering some of the other shocking ownerships and the way some clubs have sunk without a trace, or yo-yo’d about, he has by no means been the worst chairman.
We are undeniably several levels up on and off the pitch from when he took over, and the financial footing is so sound that we won’t do a Leeds.
When Enic took over our like for like Peers were villa and Everton. Villa have been relegated and achieved nothing. Everton have bumbled from one disaster to the next and could easily go down this season.
He has made mistakes, lots of them, but as a steward of the club, we could have done a lot lot worse
Agree with chronic on this one. I’m consistently in limbo between ads spurs over achieving with their spend by getting to a cl final and having some decent teams. Or hugely under achieving with 1 trophy in 30 years.
On the trophy front he has failed massively. In every other department he has done exceptionally well. If you ask other CEO's or chairmen esp those involved with sports, majority would probably rank him up there with the best of them.
Tbf, in the big picture, he's been a very good chairman for you. Just made the fatal mistake of not capitalizing on momentum when you had it to go up that next level into really being a top player, but that's more on Joe Lewis than him.

I think the unfortunate thing was that when the moment came to capitalise on our momentum, we were spending hugely on the stadium and actually spent zero. Just the Spursy way sadly.
I may be in the minority, but I am still a huge fan if Dabiel Levy. Yes he has made mistakes, but tell me someone who hasn't.
His overseeing of the new stadium will become his legacy, and now that it is again full, will give Spurs a massive financial advantage going forward. It will become an absolute cash cow, and allow Spurs to grow on and off the field.

Key word cash cow. That's like sweet music for Levy & Joe!
They'll just settle for fooling the fans in thinking they'll invest in players like they have done in very aspect of the club, but as fans we'll just get the same old links to Dybala and Lauturo Martinez, when the times for selling tickets comes around, then we'll be joining the crew that sing from the We Love Daniel hymn sheet. Then the window closes, and Levy and Je have yet again the last laugh,
Not tell me you haven't seen this scenario before as a Spurs fans?

ENIC run Tottenham as an income producing business.
Levy is on record as saying he will not pay premium prices for players. He thinks the whole player market is unreasonable, and he may be right, but if you don't play the market you don't get the best players, or even the second tier. You get the left overs.
Fans who support Lewis & Levy's making money ideas can look forward to a dismal future of mid league performances.
The sooner ENIC sells out and we get new ownership, the sooner the chances of us supporting a winning club.
Those who read Levy's letter to Haringey council will know that everything he said was correct.
But they will also understand why he wrote it.
Simply put, the council is endangering the status of the area surrounding his business investment - the stadium.
And that, Levy sees as debasing his business.
If Levy had more control of the club or Joes money he would have invested a lot more in to the squad, that’s what I believe anyway.
The commercial side of the club he’s done an incredible job, absolutely outstanding.
The commercial side of the club he’s done an incredible job, absolutely outstanding.
======================================
And yet after 3 years we are still waiting for a stadium sponsor
I'm not ENIC in or out but what I do know we are in the final stage if the "plan". Build the stadium to close the gap on matchday revenues by the top teams and to enhance the brand globally. Covid put a halt to it so now we are in the first full season of the new stadium with a naming rights deal yet to be signed. Concerts and nfl quota for the year are booked.
Lets see what happens this summer in terms of spending on the team. Five more home games and four away to play with an outside chance of top 4.
A chairman very much of 2 contrasting sides: success and failure. A good businessman but a not a good football person, great at building Spurs into a big club and poor at treating it like a big club from that point onwards.

I agree with Morespurs on this one.
But Sandy is right, you do not have to go to WHL and buy tickets to games.
That said, I think ENIC should let go of this club.
It is past time and great players like Kane are suffering because Levy won't play that actual market, but instead will always buy cheapo players.
I'm with those fans that want to see Harry Kane win something. And something BIG!
Gotta love the way Sandy thinks he is the only person who goes to games. Such a mug.
