Why aren't we giving the guy up front plays for Sunderland a go in a game like this, after the world cup elimination to get the fans back onside get a natural finisher on as we have enough attack minded players in and around midfield who are capable of creating chances for him, instead we play more of the same types up top instead, Armstrong, Christie, Adams, mcginn all guys who seem to score nice goals from around the 10-20 yard areas, but not lethal poachers, I can understand this against the bigger nations but not in a match such as this one.

I know but we can't keep hoping a defender keeps bailing us out such as Souttar vs denmark and tonight again Ralston against Armenia, then it's mcginn a midfielder harbouring the responsibility.
Yeah Ross Stewart, I know he was scoring in league one but still a decent level on a par with this lot, no disrespect of course.
